Monthly Rentals in Maxwelton

I rented this home for a long weekend in January and it was wonderful! The downstairs area has a fantastic kitchen (it's large, well-stocked with small appliances, and a great space for those who love to cook and bake), it has a large table for dinner and games, and a very cozy living area with a couch, giant bean bag chair, and gas fireplace. We certainly felt at home here! There is immediate beach access from the house and it's a short drive into town. The host, Kirsten, was super responsive and helpful. From the beginning, I knew that we were in good hands and would be well taken care of by her. I would note that the main bedroom, the one with the largest bed and fireplace, is not in a private room but is in an open loft space. It made for an interesting and less-than-ideal bedroom setup when sharing the house with a larger group of people. Despite the lack of walls and privacy, the room itself was quite nice - the fireplace kept it warm and the view from the bed was fantastic.

One of the best places we have stayed! We enjoyed our morning walk on the beach, the bay front cabin, and great sunsets from the porch. The beds were very comfortable and really clean bathrooms. Plenty of towels and several options for making coffee. Marnie was the best communicator from the time we booked until we checked out. From recommending places to go to dinner suggestions and checking in mid-way through our visit! Really enjoyed our stay! Thank you.

This was by far the nicest and most enjoyable Airbnb I’ve had the pleasure of staying in - Beautiful beachy interiors, amazing chefs kitchen, master bedroom with a view that you never want to leave … even to go explore the island - Private, serene surroundings. The host was wonderful and made us feel very. at home. I can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely beautiful location on Whidbey Island. The studio is on a property with lots of trees and meadows. They have some trails around the property that made for a nice walk after dinner. We sat out on the deck and enjoyed just the sounds of birds. Check-in was super easy and the location was easy to find. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and saw the comfy bed and completely stocked kitchen. Super clean. I would definitely like to come back.
