Jolene’s beach house has unbelievably spectacular views. The house design and decor is straight out of a home decorating magazine. The huge deck gives perfect privacy and breathtaking sunsets and sunrises. The ocean was warm and wonderful for swimming . The house itself is incredibly well outfitted and Jolene made sure that we had everything, including coffee…. driving way out of her way to show up in the morning with a missing part for the machine. We were delighted with everything about this experience and only wished we could have stayed longer.

Absolutely beautiful views and a lovely little place. Was perfect for our short stay. Loree was lovely, very friendly and helpful. If we find ourselves back in Waihi Beach we will definitely be staying here again.

We had an awesome couple nights at Amanda's! This studio is in immaculate condition, no faults about this place at all. It's situated in a peaceful spot, very private from the main house. Amanda was a great host; very friendly and welcomed us at arrival, was there if we needed her, otherwise left us to it. Walking distance from the beach, a 2 minute drive from shops and not far from both Waihi and Paeroa Golf Courses which are the best courses we've played at to date.

We had a wonderful stay at hot water beach! Cannot recommend this place enough. A very beach cottage vibe to it and is literally a two second walk to the beach (right across the road). Check in was super easy and the host was very responsive. The only thing is there was no ice (or ice trays provided) and as mentioned you have to drive a bit into town so that could easily be avoided but we got to see the town of Hahei which is a super cute place and happy we got to see it. This place is definitely worth it, you’ll feel like you’re in a little garden oasis.
