Vacation rentals in McAlester

Wonderful home, beautiful view, fabulous hosts, peaceful surroundings….running out of adjectives!!! I highly recommend this gorgeous vacation home! My family and I spent our Christmas vacation here and had a blast…the hosts had decorated the lodge with Christmas lights, a decorated tree, and lots of Christmas spirit throughout the house. Everything was perfect! Again, thank you for sharing your home with us!

We will be back. Amazing host. They provided snacks and the place was so beautifully decorated and clean. We loved the bird scavenger hunt. The details of this place were amazing. They even had kid toys in a closet and outside. Well stocked kitchen. We appreciated the fans in closets in case we needed. We loved that the bathrooms were stocked with plenty of toilet paper, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Perfect location. Extremely cozy and you can truly REST at THE NEST! We will be back. 10 stars.

Absolutely, hands down, the best property I have stayed at - the home is brand new, beautifully decorated and appointed, quiet and peaceful surroundings - I extended my stay 3 times as it was just too hard to leave. Brent was wonderful to work with and I can't wait to be back! Magical!

We had a wonderful time staying at Kathy’s place. We loved relaxing in the hot tub looking out at the lake. This peaceful getaway was exactly what we were hoping for. I highly recommend staying here and checking out the nearby state park, local restaurants (Mama Tig’s Pizza and June’s were great!) and enjoying lake life!

We have friends in another state (we had a group of 6 adults) and Lake Eufala is right in the middle. it rained all weekend, but we enjoyed the big porch, played games around the dinner table, listened to music on the porch speakers, and never felt cramped or crowded. The Porch House had everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay.

We loved our stay in Eufaula! The home was exactly that - not just a house, but a home. and it had everything we could need for our 5-day stay. Sarah was incredibly responsive if there was anything we needed/couldn't find around the home. Our young boys (5 and 3) loved running around in the backyard, as did our dogs, and the indoor games really saved us on the first day when it was too cold and windy to be outside. The hot tub was a big hit for the boys and the adults loved being able to wind down after a day of hiking in nearby state parks (Robbers Cave and Arrowhead were the two we visited). The town was wonderful and everyone was very friendly - we checked out Mama Tig's Pizza, Tavern No. 9, Lakeside Bites and Brews and The Sour Mermaid and would recommend all of them! We rented a boat from Xtreme Cove Marina on our last day and it was the perfect end to a wonderful Spring Break trip. Highly recommend checking out this house for your next family trip to Eufaula!

My husband and I needed a relaxing getaway and we found that and more at Safe Haven. The cabin was amazing and the surroundings were beautiful. But the most amazing thing was the peace that saturates the cabin and property. We were able to relax and soak in the peace while enjoying nature, the incredible views, the secluded woods, and outdoor spaces made for rest and relaxing. We are already planning our next getaway due to the incredible hosts and the Safe Haven they have created 💜
