Sunflower Cottage is a romantic self-catering cottage in McGregor, and is one of the oldest and most loved historical houses in the village. Originally built in the 1880’s, its thick adobe walls, original mud floors, reed ceilings and thatched roof are natural insulators against the heat and cold of the Little Karoo. It is separate from the main house and has its own front and very private back garden which makes it ideal for a romantic getaway. It has secure off street parking, a fully equipped modern kitchen and an en suite bathroom with shower. The start of several hiking trails is only 350 meters from the cottage making it the perfect base for the more adventurous.
