Vacation rentals with a beach view in Mediterranean Sea

This is an amazing house on a beachfront road in a charming little town. There is a small square in walking distance that has a nice bar/coffee shop and restaurant. The house itself is lovely with very comfortable beds and amazing views both of the ocean out the front door and balcony, and of Mt Etna out of the two back balconies. Bedrooms are good sized with two full baths on the first floor and a half bath with the bedroom on the second floor. We had 5 adults in our group and never felt cramped. WiFi is good. Hosts are very friendly and helpful and very responsive to questions and give a good list of local attractions and restaurants to try. House is in an area with easy access to both Catania and Taormina, both about 35-45 minutes away by car. Would definitely stay here again if ever back in the area.

We initially booked 10 nights at Raul house, but upon arrival, there was unexpected heavy construction noise from nearby which went on all day. Although this was completely out of Raul’s control, he was very apologetic and did his up most best to make the situation better and immediately moved us to another of his properties. While the second house was great, it didn’t quite meet our needs as we had hoped for a private pool and panoramic views like the original booking. Though we only stayed two nights, (one night at each house) we were very impressed with how Rau handled the situation. His communication was excellent, and he was fair and accommodating when we decided to move elsewhere. The original house was exactly as pictured, spotlessly clean with stunning Mediterranean views, we were very disappointed not to stay. Despite things not working out for us, I would definitely recommend Raul and his properties. He's an excellent host!

Alessandra’s place was incredible. We enjoyed being there just as much as we enjoyed traveling around Italy. Town of Conca dei Marini and the little beach there were our favorites. Friendly people, beautiful surroundings, great central location - close to Amalfi, Agerola, Positano and Ravello. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Beautiful sunrises every day. Property manager, Anna Maria was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and amenities. Highly recommend!

The location is wonderful, facing the lake and next to the castle. The house is rustic, old, very beautiful. The house is fully equipped with everything we need and more. We were greeted with a drink, water and delicious biscuits. Large rooms, impeccable bathrooms being one overlooking the lake. There is a suggestion, to change the mattress of the double bed in the main bedroom and arrange the upholstery of the sofas and armchairs, are sinking. It was wonderful days!!! We were with a lot of luggage and this is a problem, it is far from the parking lot and it is difficult to walk the streets of stones with suitcases. Only at the exit we can get the cart to transport the luggage.

We had a fantastic stay at Mario’s! The space was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, but the real highlight was the view—it was absolutely breathtaking. Whether I was sipping coffee in the morning or winding down in the evening, the scenery made every moment feel extra special. Mario was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. This was our first multi-family international trip, and staying here was definitely the right choice. We explored several of the nearby smaller port towns for dinner, and everything we wanted to see and do was easily accessible by car. One day, we even stayed local and enjoyed the beach, which was just a short walk from the house. Everyone in the neighborhood was so friendly—even taking the time to show my parents how to look for wild asparagus! It was truly a perfect trip and the perfect place to stay. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat

Everything was fine, lovely place ideal for a relaxing holiday with beautiful scenery. The hosts were nice and so was their lovely cat.

Very nice flat, fully matching the description and pictures, with a nice sea view. It was spotlessly clean on arrival. Estelle was very responsive to all our enquiries and we were warmly welcome by Jean-Luc. Everything was perfect.

The apartment is small as you would expect in such a central location in the port area and close to restaurants and shops, but it was quite comfortable for the two of us and could accommodate more. The hosts responded quickly to any queries we had. It is a short walk to the Archeological Museum and a short taxi ride to Knossos. A couple of notable restaurants are Avli and Peskesi, which are above and beyond the standard fare but not unduly expensive. As mentioned in a previous review the restaurant immediately downstairs, Sir Papafigos, was good too.

It was beautiful and host had a great communication, we had troubles with the location because the street was closed, no elevator and the water was cold but other than that it was a great stay. It was clean and a beautiful apartment not far from the center by car

Susanna and Alvaro are wonderful hosts. Extremely good communication and excellent recommendations. The selection of food and drinks was very much appreciated as we arrived in the evening. The apartment had everything we needed and was well located for the train into the city. We also visited Montserrat and Sitges by car - plenty of free parking spaces around the apartment block. We particularly enjoyed the sea view, comfy beds and the hammock on the balcony. Overall a great stay in a beautiful city.

Fantastic stay at Sabina's apartment. (first time we went to another country) The apartment was clean and everything was ready when we arrived, just unpack the luggage. The views of the bay and mountain are amazing. The sunsets are just fantastic. Despite our very approximate English, communication with Sabina was fluid and she was very good tips for activities. Cavtat, 3 km away, is a beautiful city with many friendly places to eat ( local Dalmatino cuisine: our favorite) and great places to explore. Friendly, with a sense of humor, helpful and discreet, etc. Sabina is an OUTSTANDING host. I would recommend the place without hesitation.

Velerija's place was so charming, immaculately clean, and had an amazing terrace that faced the harbor. We loved having our coffee and night cap up there.. Valerija met us when we started our stay and gave us all the details we needed. She also had a binder full of instructions and even arranged a sunset cruise for us. She thought of everything including walking sticks, aromatheraly diffuser, and a yoga mat. She even had a bottle of wine waiting for us. It's been our best airbnb experience so far and we would love to come back. The Uber ride to Old Town was about $6-7 each way.

Nice and clean apartment, in a good location.

Our family of five truly enjoyed our stay here! This is a beautiful, spacious apartment with amazing views from the terrace and bedrooms. Also the location is fantastic! the supermarket is very close, and it’s easy to walk around Sorrento. We also took a taxi tour along amalfi coast from Sorrento which was great. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Pierluigi was very kind and welcoming, helping us from the beginning to the end. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Great location, pristine apartment.

Wow! Where do I start?!! This is one of the nicest, cleanest apartments that I’ve ever stayed in. When I walked in after an 11-hour flight from California, it smelled so clean; everything was in place, and the view to the Mediterranean was Amazing! If it weren’t for having to get groceries, I could have stayed in this apartment on the deck the entire time. Vassil was extremely helpful in every way as a host. His instructions were very clear; he suggested some great restaurants and wonderful day trips from Nice. If I had a question for Vassil, he always responded very quickly. I plan to return to Nice before end of the year, and I hope that one of Vassil’s apartments will be available. Vassil is most definitely a 5-star host!🌸

it was a pleasant stay, the appartement is nicely decorated and very well located ! the terrace is beautiful and Mario is very arrangeable. we stayed a month there and we have really enjoyed the place !

Had a fantastic stay. Very spacious apartment with a magnificent view of the sea. The terraces are also wonderful to stay!

Helga's home was perfect! The location is so beautiful, with every window looking onto an orange grove filled with bird song. The location is so peaceful and quiet. The path to the wall beyond the grove was enchanting and the view of the sea a must see. We walked there each morning to sip our coffee. The home is large, and kept in perfect condition. Helga was very helpful in making sure we got in and are happy. Her assistant Rosa was lovely and helpful. We would definitely stay again, and didn't want to leave. The bed in the bedroom is firm, and on the cooler days the floor can be cold so bring some warm socks. The home is equipped with heat that works really well, and I imagine it stays nice in the summer with the many windows and the breeze. If you are headed to Sorrento, stay here!

We had a great 2-week stay at Susie's apartment. The flat is centrally located to old town and beach. There is a very well equipped super market and a great cafe right next door. Directly to the complex includes a pool that is even guarded with lifeguard. It is open from 12-8 pm. But you should bring beach chairs, or you should lie down on the meadow. Loungers are not provided. Unfortunately, balls or the like are prohibited in the pool. Therefore, we have preferred the nearby sea. If you keep to the left at the fishing port, there is a wide sandy beach. Overall, the apartment is very well equipped and we have filled up. We were disturbed by something that the chairs and the sofa were already very worn. In the master bedroom you could hear the elevator very well, which was also in operation until 2 -3 at night. Still, it was a great stay.

The host is kind and helpful she is very nice person, everything was great the view and the place and the pictures match the reality, but too much spiders and insects outside in the garden and little spiders inside the home. The road was hard to reach the destinantion.

The special thing about the apartment is that it really gives you the impression of being at home, probably because it is also a home away from the owner. We felt very comfortable. Crockery and cutlery were even thought of for our child. Everything you needed was there and was sparkling clean. Thank you!
