Windmill vacation rentals in Mediterranean Sea

Amazing!! The photos don’t do this place justice. It is so quirky and unique staying in a real windmill and we loved it. The spiral stairs, the round beds, the views… the location is fantastic, you can walk to the beautiful town of glaxidi which we loved and also the beach - both on paths through pine trees and also while we were there we had the swimming pool all to ourselves! We had a great time at the windmill. Very easy to travel about as we hired a car which we believe is needed if you want to explore the island. Vivian is so nice. She is very helpful and supportive for anything you need and looked after us so well and cooked a great breakfast every day Thank you Vivian!!!!!!

Can not recommend highly enough. So unique, special, iconic, up high, great views, well restored, freshly painted, so much attention to detail. They picked me up from near the port themselves, carried my heavy bag to the windmill, communicated immediately, were flexible and so very kind and proactive and doing anything to help anticipate our needs to make our stay better. That included sitting down and reviewing maps with me and showing me what I should see before I go, how to get there, a mini fridge full of a variety of fresh fruit, cheese, drinks, plus breads and jams, how to use the air, wifi, electricity. They came to get me and take me back to town on check out. Ano Syros is not to be missed. It's a very unique medieval town with a fascinating history. Take a tour while there and you'll learn so much (that's actually how I learned about the windmill was on a tour). Yes it's worth coming up here to spend some time to explore while in Syros. Space is best for a couple.

Our stay was great. Not only the quiet, yet central location convinced us, but also the outstanding hospitality. Since we were the only guests, we were able to use the entire facility. Dimitris gave us very good tips for activities and restaurants and was immediately available when there was a small problem. The farewell gift we received on the day of departure was a touching surprise. We felt very comfortable and can fully recommend this apartment.

Jean Marcel is an excellent host, a great welcome. The night at the mill is a unique experience, to be redone!

the windmill is a timeless magical place, immersed in a five-star Tuscan countryside. Miller Lorenzo is an attentive host discreet and present for any eventuality also ideal from a logistical point of view, a stone's throw from Pisa and Livorno

My Husband and I stayed in the Windmill for our honeymoon and it was absolutely magical. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. the home itself is super well equipped with everything you need. It is decorated so lovely, makes you feel right at home. Michel who greeted us at check in was lovely and very informative. Julie was also extremely polite to communicate with. We had a great time at Erwan's! An absolute highlight of our trip. The mill is extraordinary and Erwan is great. We would mist definitely visit again. Next #time we will come in good weather!

Great place!! When all ferries were cancelled due to strong winds, we needed a place to stay asap as our other hotel had no more availability. Giorgos was extremely responsive and helpful in putting us at ease of his availability and flexible check in times. Although the winds caused us to miss our trip to Naxos- this windmill stay although last minute and not expected- was extremely cute and enjoyable and now is a potential candidate for our future trips as we would definitely stay here again! Bad weather and cancelation led us to find and experience this great place!!!

We spent 5 wonderful days in the Christos windmill, furnished with care and elegance despite the small spaces. The windmill is unique as a location, great for relaxing and enjoying a breathtaking view, outside the downtown casino, but at the same time 5 minutes from the restaurants and the most beautiful beaches. The host was very kind and thoughtful. I hope to go back!
