Waterfront vacation rentals in Mendip District

Thank you Sheena for a lovely few days away. I felt right at home and didnt want to leave! The garden was lovely in the sunny weather. The property was so clean and had everything i needed. A lovely walk into town which was close by but i felt in the country too. I cant wait to stay again!

Great apartment! Very easy to find and clear check in and check out details. It is a huge apartment so as a group you have loads of space. Our stay was great thanks to Charlotte! It was slightly noisy at some points in the night but it may have been because it was a bank holiday weekend. Didn’t bother us and was expected due to such a central location.

The apartment is in a stunning location overlooking the SS Great Britain. The apartment block is very well kept, situated in lovely gardens. Inside, it is very comfortable with expansive views of the river from the lounge and terrace. Would highly recommend.

Great stay at this place! The lounge was really big, which made for a nice comfortable space. The host was helpful and responsive - they even offered to send back something I thought I'd left behind (though it wasn't actually there in the end). Would recommend if you're looking for a great location with a group.​​​​​​​​

This was a great find. The apartment was just perfect for four or us, inside and out, it has everything you might require. The facilities were perfect, and the bedrooms were away from each other, and we both had our own bathroom. The apartment is in a quiet area, and we felt secure and safe, and it was easy to find. The river view was fantastic, and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony on a summer evening with an aperitif. Cardiff is a great place to visit; this apartment gives you quick access to town and Cardiff Bay as well as good walks in the area. The car park was a bonus. We really enjoyed our visit to Cardiff and our host was excellent at keeping in touch. Thank you, we would like to return one day, we would highly recommend this apartment.

Apartment was exactly as it was shown and described. Fantastic view and position perfect for us. Walk into the city along the river was pleasant and easy, likewise the bridge over to the lovely restaurants etc in the Bay. We will definitely book this apartment again when visiting Cardiff. A perfect last minute getaway for new year tranquillity. Although the weather wasn't the best we got out still and we would definitely love to return spring/summer time as the waters /surrounding the property would be so beautiful I'm sure if it wasn't already. The bed was super comfy. The space was ideal and enough to feel comfort for our visit. Thanks for the friendly welcome... Relaxed Gestures and fresh bread too.

Truly wonderful stay - my parents and daughter travelled from Australia to spend Christmas with me and we decided to go to the Cotswolds (along with my dog). I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Tracey’s home had everything we needed, set amongst a beautiful, tranquil surrounding nestled on the lake. Picturesque views and relaxing surroundings. The house itself is beautifully presented - lots of lovely little touches and thoughtful additions. It was so easy to get around from the house to all different parts of the Cotswolds - perfect place to come back to after a days worth of outings. Nice hot shower and comfy couch and amenities. Restaurants and pubs close by within an easy four to six minute drive - dogs welcome! Thank you for a wonderful stay. It truly made our Christmas.

Stunning property. Stayed as a family aging from two to eighty three and Sunset lodge had everything you could need for a comfortable stay away. Kitchen has everything needed and more to dine in. Modern, comfortable furnishings in spacious rooms all with lovely views of the water. Safe for children and easy to move around with a partially sighted guest with limited mobility. Michelle was a fantastic host, always responsive and provided lots of information regarding the property and site. Lovely indoor and outdoor swimming pool on site in the spa with booked slots so didn’t get too busy. Site was beautiful, quiet and calm for a relaxing short break with family.

Jerry and Jacqui couldn’t have been more welcoming and we had a wonderful stay in their exceptional home. It is full of fascinating artifacts, brilliantly located and very comfortable. Many thanks indeed.

We had a lovely stay at Summer Lodge. It was easy to access and check in. The expansive area downstairs comprising lounge, dining and kitchen provided loads of space for us to congregate as a family but there were also many private areas to allow people to disappear from the crowd as desired and everyone was happy with their own sleeping arrangements. The location was stunning overlooking the lake and we would have no hesitation in booking again.

We had a lovely Easter break in this house with our family (8 adults). The weather was perfect so we enjoyed playing tennis and paddle boarding on site and walked to the pub in the village.

Lovely place right on the water. Looks better than the photos. Had everything we needed in a great location with access to pool and with onsite restaurant and little shop. Perfect for a get away would come again

We had a wonderful stay in the Cotswolds Water park. A beautiful home with stunning views of the lake. The house was incredibly clean and comfortable and provided enough space for 6 adults and 3 children (one in a travel cot). It is very modern and spacious with so much thought in the decor. Board games and bat and ball games were a plenty and added some extra fun to the weekend! The outdoor area with comfortable furniture and beautiful views were very much enjoyed. The hosts allowed us to use their kayaks and paddle boards which we could easily walk to the lake. We enjoyed the park a few minutes walk away as well as footpaths with stunning scenery surrounding the house and gated community. Coffee shops, bistros, brasseries and pizzerias were all close by and excellent! Jon was an excellent host, on hand to make our stay comfortable. We really had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to book again.

Overnight stop in Cardiff for an event, this flat was ideal. Quiet location so no noise to disrupt sleep. Tony couldn’t have been more helpful. Would happily stay there again in the future

Francis was extremely helpful and quick to respond to all my questions about parking permits etc. we were offered early check in as property ready. The apartment was beautifully decorated and had everything you could want. Perfect location. Will definitely be staying here again when next taking a trip to Cardiff.

Great little flat with a perfect view. Had everything we needed in the kitchen -we managed to cook a roast dinner at home one night. The sunsets are so beautiful to watch from the warmth and comfort of the lounge. Sue is fab and theres enough places to eat nearby if you want to go out.

Our stay with Tina was absolutely perfect. The most stunning home with such a beautiful garden. Tina was so helpful from start to finish.

Absolutely perfect! Immaculately clean, beautiful view, lovely decor and furniture. Vanessa was helpful and reached out to check we were ok. Its close to everything, we walked everywhere and got the train to Cardiff, yet its far away enough for a peaceful stay. Couldn't fault a single thing, we loved it! My only wish would be for another bedroom so that we could return with our children! Thank you x

such a lovely spot. The welcome pack was a really nice touch. My wife is fussy for cleanliness and she was very happy with the standard of cleaning. We loved the peace and quiet so much we would love to return sometime. Pleanty of parking spaces. Thank you
