Great location for walking anywhere on The Hill. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Was a great tiny home to stay in for the weekend. The only little downside is the parking issue. There's another house next door and shares a driveway with this location. It was a little tough to get out of the driveway.

They had everything we needed plus more. We discovered conveniences throughout our stay and the occasional surprise treat on the counter or in the fridge! Always responded quickly to questions or clarifications. We felt not only safe, but comfortable in the cottage and neighborhood. Had the occasional issue with slow WiFi, but it encouraged us to get out and see more of the great neighborhoods. The walk to the Botanical garden was easy. The cafes close and across the park were great. Sasha’s wine bar and Roosters were also excellent and walking distance. Centralized location made getting to Clayton, Wash U and Downtown very convenient. All in all, great place to chill, sleep and convenient to explore St Louis.

This is a fantastic location. 5 mins from the grove, 10-15 mins from CWE, close to Forest park, easy walk to lots of great bars and restaurants in the Hill. Walkable to the community college Forest Park branch. The space is a vintage shotgun home filled with art, from floor to ceiling, and it’s someone’s home. Very lived-in and cozy. It is along a busy road and there’s a popular bar on the block, so it’s not the most quiet but I didn’t have any problems sleeping. The bedroom is in the back of the house so it stays pretty quiet back there. If you want an interesting space with lots of art instead of a cheap, flipped condo decorated with Wayfair and Target decor, this is an awesome option. Host was very responsive and friendly.

We had a great stay at the AirBNB. It was cozy and had everything we needed for our stay!

The Belle Cabin was a wonderful retreat into nature. It felt quite secluded but still close to a small town with some stores and a small church. We loved coming here to unwind for a few days while grandma watched the kids. I sat outside and was able to find every type of woodpecker around (except a red headed woodpecker). My husband enjoyed organizing his tackle box and then casting for awhile (unfortunately didn’t catch any fish). Maybe the best part was some of the thoughtful amenities they included like chopped wood, newspaper and a lighter, roasting sticks and the fixings for 4 s’mores (perfect amount for us)! The bathroom had shampoo and soap. This place had everything you need for a weekend away, would recommend.

I can’t understand why anyone would rate this place less than 5 stars. It’s perfect. The pictures really make it look smaller than it is. The guy who checked us in (Herkley) went above and beyond. All we did was sit on the private gravel bar and swam while we watched floaters go by. The private beach is a 15 min walk. Next time I come here I will bring my truck because you can drive ur truck right up to the water. (We did take a car down there but a truck would be better). Also don’t plan on ordering anything delivery because you can’t. Just bring something to cook. Also the deck was really nice. My only regret is not staying for more than 1 day. We are coming back here next time. Also u can get picked up and dropped off here for a float

we had a great time at H&M retreats! We rented the entire property for a family gathering and it was perfect for our group. The main building is set up well for dining and hanging out and the cabins are cozy and well laid out. Everything was very clean and the property is very peaceful.

This place was the perfect weekend stay! It was clean, organized, and offered lots of amenities. The included frozen pizza and drinks was a huge plus! Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Charming “Little House”. Hosts were very attentive - when there was an issue with the heating unit, Igor was there within 20 minutes. Close to Tower Grove Park and the Missouri Botanical Garden.

Great place to stay a couple nights to go floating.

My son, dog and I had the BEST time! The hosts were wonderfully accommodating , cabin was adorable, clean and cozy, the setting was legit like something out of a fairytale- The land, creek and nature were breathtakingly beautiful. We cold plunged in the creek, looked for beautiful rocks along the creek bank for hours, enjoyed the fire-pit, explored all around the huge property, cooked wholesome meals, snuggled up to movies at night, and relished in the pristine nature. We are already planning to come back this summer! If you have the chance to visit- don’t hesitate to do so! We have traveled and adventured all over the country and this is by far one of our very favorite experiences to date!

We had a great stay. Everything was clean, and it was the perfect place just to get away for the weekend.

This is our second visit and this time we brought friends and I’m already looking forward to our next visit! Winter was magical and warm and cozy but pool season is the best!

We truly loved staying at the garage mahal! The location was perfect and so close to the Brewery tour at anheuser busch. The place was exactly as described and they provided the most helpful photos for checking in. The space was quaint and bigger than expected. They provided welcome beers and had the absolute best roof top fire pit, which is how we spent our anniversary evening. Steve and Jennifer were so kind and offered suggestions. They also have the best dogs, Max and Ty which they graciously let us spend time with. Steve also made sure to ask if we wanted to meet them, or he would have made sure we didn’t, which I thought was so thoughtful. We were sad to leave and LOVED our stay here, this will be our permanent spot whenever we come back, which will be often. I can’t recommend The Garage Mahal and Steve and Jennifer enough! Thanks for the most memorable trip! ❤️

I loved the decor of this home and it was very clean . We had a bit of confusion checking in as someone else was in our suite but Eric and his team were very responsive and we quickly got it resolved . Lovely setting- I loved the rushing creek . The surrounding buildings are lovely

I'm in love. We had the best time at the sweet little cabin. The jacuzzi was amazing. I am never staying anywhere else....lol I'll be back. Thank you for sharing this gem 🙏

Peggy and Jeff are not only great people, but are also great hosts. They are both the perfect combination of staying out of your business, but are also friendly and periodically checking in on you to make sure you're doing okay. The TINY home was perfect for me, and I honestly don't think I would have been happier anywhere else. I have not had a single issue for the duration of my stay. Everything was very clean and you can really tell the attention to detail that has went into this TINY home. I can not say enough about this airbnb rental. I don't usually write reviews, but this time it was necessary. If you are trying to decide whether to book, or not, trust me when I say that this is the one you want!

The place was fantastic and exactly what I'd expect from a Tiny Home. Not totally expected was how peaceful it was. Seclusion but close to everything we needed. A quite night by the fit pit was exactly what we needed. Thomas and Alex were super accommodating including helping me with something I'd forgotten. Thanks!

James was fantastic! We are locals to the area but are in transition of selling our house to buying property and developing it for us to live one. All that being said a winter storm hit our area. At the moment we are in a camper….we lost power due to ice and power lines down. I thought maybe someone would have an Airbnb around with a wood stove and this one did!!! We got in direct contact with James and he helped us out tremendously! It was nice to see all the wonderful comments about our small town and area in his guest book. It was a cozy, WARM stay. Just what we needed.
