Vacation rentals with lake access in Meramec River

What a charming chalet! My family and I really enjoyed staying here for spring break. We fished and paddle boated in the pond, enjoyed the fire pit, and explored the resort. The house was well-stocked, and the host is kind, helpful, and communicative. Would highly recommend!

This chalet and its owners exceeded our expectations. It is as lovely and peaceful as the photos make it look. Everything we needed to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable was right there. We had a sunny day and a gray day and a rainy day—all equally fun and cozy, as the inside of the chalet was as inviting as the outdoor activities. Shanna was super responsive and helpful with recommendations, answers to questions, and personal touches that made it so relaxing. We definitely plan to stay here again!

What a wonderful getaway! Everything was just as described. Such a beautiful clean space with beautiful views overlooking the lake. We enjoyed sipping tea and coffee on the deck overlooking the lake, birdwatching, relaxing and reading the fantastic book selection, and enjoying our own private dock and kayaks. I love the fact that we didn’t have to go anywhere to kayak and relaxed on the private dock soaking up the sun during the day. The beds were comfortable, nice clean linens, nice towels, lots of games, toys for kids, and comfy couch to curl up and watch movies at night. Overall, a very relaxing wonderful experience and thank you so much to the responsive host for answering any questions that came up. Highly recommend!

This place was absolutely perfect for a weekend with our whole family! So much to do, tons of space, and pristine. Would absolutely come back again!

This was our third spring vacation to this cozy lake house. We love the peaceful setting and well-appointed house—perfect for our family to relax and reconnect with s’mores and books and games and great meals. This year my son caught his first fish (a small bass and a bluegill) and a large bald eagle made a visit one morning. Jenna is a perfect host—always friendly and quick to deal with any questions or concerns.

Everything was exactly as described and as pictured. It was super clean and cozy.

My family and I adored our stay. We were able to bring my dogs and keep my baby boy entertained with all the toys at the house. The house was just big enough for 5 adults. Furniture had covers on them which made me feel comfortable about having the dogs there. Unfortunately we were stuck inside for most of our stay. I would have loved to spend more time outside on the patio. The lake is just a short walk from the house and we saw lots of wildlife there. Although harmless, it did seem like there were a few people sleeping in their cars at the park next door. I did find the tailgate of the truck open but we couldn’t remember if we left it open or not. Just be mindful and lock your doors.

The cabin itself was cozy, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a true home away from home. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and the spacious living area was perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. We enjoyed the private deck, which provided an incredible vantage point of the lake – perfect for morning coffee or evening sunsets. The area is peaceful, with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities like fishing, kayaking, and hiking nearby. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, providing us with all the information we needed and ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. If you're looking for a quiet, scenic getaway in Missouri, this lake cabin is the perfect spot. We can't wait to return!
