This is a beautiful, tranquil location and lovely home. DM is a very attentive host, almost like a mom :) There were a lot of thoughtfully tailored touches that welcomed us and made us feel at home, including some really lovely breakfasts. It made for a very nice, cozy getaway with a lot of nice perks - massage table, firepit, and a super comfortable hot tub. if you're looking to be charmed by East Sooke, this is a fantastic place for it!

Great place to stay. I was there two weeks with my dog and loved the proximity to Havenwood Park. Very clean. Loved the welcome manual highlighting the parks in the area. Jill even supplied starter groceries which was very convenient.

One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at! The moment you drive down the street you feel a sense of peace & serenity. Once you arrive & enter through the gate you step into a tranquil outdoor space that is so beautiful & relaxing. This continues as you go inside the lovely suite. Carla is a wonderful host and has put a lot of extra thought into making her guests feel right at home. Highly recommend!

we spent the weekend for my sisters birthday with a group of girls, comfortable setting, getting up early and watching the ocean and exploring the trails near by was wonderful. We will totally be back, even better than pictured!

Gail's House is a beloved family getaway filled with quirky and interesting marine and nautical pictures and gadgets so lovingly collected. It's very comfortable and right on the dock and the views are amazing. Lucky for us, we were there in prawn season and our hosts gave us the best prawns we have ever had, fresh from the water. I want to return.

This was our first time in Sooke and we shared Fredrick’s place with a friend we hadn’t seen in years. The warm home like environment, the separate bedroom ,bathroom spaces worked perfectly. The views were wonderful and we dined and explored the area easily. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Really lovely place in Cowichan Valley. Jane was a lovely and kind host. The place was exactly as shown/described, with a well stocked kitchen and a comfortable bed. Would stay here again when we're back in Duncan!

Our weekend getaway in May with Sean and Arlene was spectacular. I would highly recommend their place if you are looking to stay in Sooke. The space is larger than what we expected from the pictures, and it was extremely cozy. The place comfortably fit our group of 4. Great attractions near by including Potholes Park and Mystic Beach. Sean was extremely responsiveness, answering any questions we had in a prompt manner. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
