Vacation rentals with a sauna in Mid-Coast, Maine

This a a great place with comfortable beds and a full size kitchen. It’s a great location, near the beach and very walkable to points of interest in Old Orchard Beach. I spent 12 weeks here while working on a travel assignment. I would stay here again if I come back on another assignment. Angela is a great host.

A few times while wandering around midcoast Maine in late March, we were asked if this is when we usually came to vacation here. Yes, we are educators from the Southwest, and this was our spring break, so this is when we came to visit, but honestly, it is so peaceful this time of year. Especially Boothbay Harbor, and what we imagined while walking around the very quiet town would be a very different place in July! Our experience at Abby’s space was absolutely wonderful and serene in the spring. The thoughtful touches (thank you for the bottle of Maine wine and jar of blueberry jelly!) made it even more special. Thank you, we hope to be back one day.

This cozy spot in South Portland is charming, well-situated, and super comfortable. Was just perfect for our stay to be near our daughter and her family for a week. I also really appreciate Wynne's attention to sustainability and eco-friendly touches.

Place was super nice. Beds were very comfortable and the rest of the house was very clean. The Sauna was a nice touch and worked perfectly. The host was also super responsive and had a lot of great suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Great place to stay and would definitely stay here again!

Loved our stay at Lacey’s place! It was clean, quiet, and cozy with lots to do in the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend a stay!

The property is excellent. I would recommend going before Labor Day as a lot of local businesses including the amusement park shut down for the season. Unless traveling out of town you don’t need a vehicle to get around, you’re right off the beach and at the end of Main Street, everything is within walking distance. Yingqiao was very responsive and always got back to my messages within the hour. The condo is plenty big for a large party and the kitchen is stocked with anything you need and quite large. The beds are very comfortable and there were plenty of towels. There is also a new washer and dryer so you don’t need to overpack you can wash your clothes. The large outdoor balcony where you have views of pretty much the entire Main Street was amazing. Did not know that there would be great views like that. I highly recommend this property and we will most likely be coming back earlier in the season and checking out anything we missed. A+

My stay there was great. Very convenient, almost right off the highway. Paula and her co-host were prompt in response. I would come back again. I didn't get to use the Spa tub in the bathroom because the water pressure in the tub was taking too long to fill the tub. Next time, I would plan for that better. The hot tub made up for it though 😀. Cheers!

We wanted a relaxing and peaceful place to stay and Ferncrest was all of that! We enjoyed staying on the “quiet side” of Mount Desert Island. Yet it was close enough to Bar Harbor and the activities it offered. Coming back to Ferncrest in the evening was like coming home!

Beautiful place. Everything we needed ! I'll look for this particular condo the next time I stay at Sugarloaf mountain.

Accurate listing as far as the space/amenities go. Hard to say it's truly ski on/ski off as there's a bit of a walk to the Sawduster lift (2-chair that brings you to the base lodge) 5-10min. $1450 for 2 nights in the spring time ( reggae fest) felt a bit much we booked late. Lots of instructions to follow but that seems like all AirBnBs these days.

Located right in the middle of all the action! Perfect beach access and my kids had a blast at palace playland. Unit had everything we needed.

Well-equipped with guidebooks, kitchen implements, extra pillows, bikes, even a lobster steam pot! We lacked for nothing. Loved the photographs throughout the condo showcasing Acadia NP. Especially loved the map on the wall showing what islands we could see from the balcony. Neighbors were quite friendly & gave several good restaurant recommendations. Peaceful & quiet side of the island allowed for restful sleep each night such that I wasn’t tired after our vacation.

Check in is super simple and quick with friendly front desk staff. The condo has an open concept kitchen/living room which allows continuous interaction with family. 2 full bathrooms were more than enough to accommodate 4 adults and 2 children. Both bedrooms were very accommodating for all of us. You will have your own parking spot the entire length of your stay, a 2nd car will have to park in a separate lot about a block away from the actual condo. Everything you could need is in walking distance unless you want to travel outside of old orchard, you won’t need to touch your car. The best part for us with young children was how close the beach was this was a MUST for us and it was perfect. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. We would definitely come back if you would have us again.

Perfect studio for a ski weekend at Sugarloaf! Easy ski on ski off.

My husband and I stayed here with out two daughters for a weekend of skiing and it was great! My 4 year old loved that she could just walk over to the lift and hop on and then ski back to the condo when she was all done. The space was great, comfortable and easy to use. I would definitely stay again

Matthew and Paula's place was perfect for our large group ski weekend at Sunday River. The house is close to Bethel and less than 15 minutes to the mountain. The furniture and appliances were new and overall, the place was well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very beautiful and comfortable home. The little arcade space, the theater room, hot tub, and sauna were really nice additions! They responded to inquiries very quickly. Highly recommend.

Enjoyable stay, close to Saddleback and all that Rangeley has to offer.

Steven went above and beyond to make my family’s stay enjoyable. Upon an accidental overbook Steven refunded us the days and extra for his mistake. He also went out of his way to gift us some drinks since I had mentioned it was my birthday weekend. He was very happy to help with any questions we had. Overall, it was a nice stay and his home was beautiful.

Our Easter family gathering of 9 days was absolutely beautiful with access to all the amenities enjoying their gourmet kitchen. A wonderful surprise was a bassinet for our 2 month old grandchild was fantastic for us to enjoy her naps in the living room with peaceful views. The mountain views and their large yard - provided daily exercise for my son's dog. The host was extremely responsive with questions. We will be sure to return to this scenic beautiful / comfortable home. Great restaurants in the area. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna too! Thank you for being a wonderful host!

Booked this place for our anniversary to get away from the city for a weekend.. we found exactly what we were looking for! The hot tub was wonderful, the house was clean and cute, and we had everything we could have needed! Estelle was very responsive and gave clear instructions for everything. Would recommend this place for a quiet getaway or a small group trip in the summer!

Our stay was absolutely fabulous! Darryl was an amazing host, super responsive and full of great local recommendations. The place was spotless, cozy, and just a short drive to Sunday River where we skied. We loved using the sauna, hot tub, and game room, it was the perfect mix of fun and relaxation. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals, and we spent evenings by the fireplace with a glass of wine, enjoying the beautiful view from the terrace. It was the perfect getaway, and we’re already looking forward to coming back! Thank you Darryl!

Such a great stay here! The house was gorgeous with an amazing view of the mountains. Stocked full of everything you could need and the amenities were awesome. 10/10 recommend, hope to stay here again!

We had a great time staying at Nicks! It was the perfect spot for a girls weekend away. There was plenty of space for all 9 of us and it never felt crowded whether we were in the kitchen or getting ready in the bathrooms. The hot tub and sauna were huge hits for us! Overall an amazing spot to go relax, recharge, and have a weekend in with your favorite people. Nick sent us all the check in & out info ahead of time which made things super easy.
