Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Mid Devon District

Helen’s places was one of the most comfortable and well equipped places I have stayed in. A short distance from the costal path and within walking distance of Brixham harbour. I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful, spacious, unique place, with lovely decor and finished with elegance. Well thought out accommodation with everything you need. The place suited us perfectly for 9 guests. Exactly as described on the site. We struggled a bit with the amount of people to number of bathrooms, (1 bathroom, plus 1 en-suite) but not really an issue, just a bit of planning. The host, Rose was great, really responsive, approachable and friendly. We would definitely recommend this place and love to book again.

Great house in a good spot. David and Shruti ‘s communications were very prompt and they were very accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house for a larger group - very spacious and cosy with good facilities and parking. Many thanks for the stay

The place was amazing. Quiet, comfortable, easy, had everything you needed and with an amazing view. We would love to go back. Mo was friendly and on hand if needed but it felt private. A lovely space in a lovely place.

We had a lovely stay here. A cosy, clean and comfortable place within walking distance of central Wells. The bungalow is in a really quiet area and Lyn went above and beyond in making us feel welcome. It was wonderful- thank you.

We had a lovely stay as a group of 6 adults. Staff were lovely and went the extra mile. The house we stayed in was exceptionally clean and tidy. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we would need. Would recommend to others.

Another great stay here! This time, for a longer period of time, additional cleaning and replenishment was offered throughout. A very proactive and helpful host who obviously takes pride in their property and guests. Would highly recommend to others and consider using again in the future.

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . Really a lovely and beautifully clean caravan, with towels and bedding and all the cleaning supplies etc so no need to bring too much from home. Stunning location you fall in love with straight away. Quiet in winter but you feel safe.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this lovely flat. It was situated in an ideal location for both the Hoe/seafront and the city centre. The flat was well equipped and warm and the parking space was a real bonus. William was attentive , asking us if we had arrived safely and if everything was okay. He responded immediately when we had a minor problem. The welcome goodies were much appreciated. Thank you, we will be visiting again.

Tracy & Richard's place is very convenient and stocked with all the essentials needed for a weekend getaway or even a longer vacation. It's in a great location with a couple of minutes away from the local pub and a 30 mins walk from Lyme Regis.

Communication from Leila was prompt and accurate. Access to the property was well described and we found it easy to locate both the property and the keys. Inside, the apartment was lovely and clean with all the facilities that we could have needed. The views from the apartment over the harbour were great and although we didn’t end up using the balcony we did open the large window/door for an hour one afternoon which was very refreshing. Couldn’t fault anything really and if we visited Ilfracombe again we would have no hesitation in staying at Leila’s apartment

The apartment is a characterful and beautiful, well equipped, spacious space which felt relaxing and interesting at the same time. It fulfilled our desire to stay in somewhere that wasn't an ordinary, bland, featureless room. It was filled with curiosities and museum pieces whilst also being comfortable and quite lovely. This is a wonderful dog friendly property in a great location for exploring all that Lyme Regis has to offer. Only minutes from the beach and shops. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the garden was especially lovely for sitting in to enjoy the beautiful weather. Mike was very helpful and communicated before we arrived with lots of additional information and recommendations about local attractions and restaurants etc. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

the place was perfect ! so close to the beautiful town of looe, and even on a wet day we had , there was loads of films and games for the kids to keep them entertained, the views are blinding aswell as got the forest and sea view, robert was excellent and responsive, will definitely be looking to come back down in the summer ☀️

Despite bad weather and a couple of power cuts we had a lovely few days away. The property felt private and not overlooked and was well equiped with everything we needed in the kitchen. A lovely beach is a short walk away, we also took a short drive into looe for a cuppa and cake. We would definitely stay longer next time.

Had a great stay in a beautiful house in a fabulous location. Kids really enjoyed the hot tub and the games room. We struggled with TVs in the bedrooms but I think that's down to us and fire sticks.!! Simon responded quickly to any issues we had. We laid in bed and watched the sunrise - what's not to like. Would recommend.

Had a wonderful time. The place felt very secluded with amazing amenities and stunning sea view. Neil was very friendly and helpful too and even left us chocolates and champagne to help us celebrate a special occasion. Would love to stay here again sometime.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! The house is incredibly spacious, making it perfect for families or larger groups. There was more than enough room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. One of the highlights was the large parking area—plenty of space to comfortably park up to 5 cars, which made things so convenient for us. Inside, the house is well-equipped for families, especially those with kids. There were lots of toys to keep the little ones entertained, which was a huge plus. The dining table is impressively big, allowing everyone to sit together and enjoy meals as a group—something we really appreciated. We were also pleasantly surprised by the generous complimentary breakfast items stocked in the house. It was a thoughtful touch that made our mornings easier and more enjoyable. The outdoor space is just as inviting as the inside. The back garden features a fun trampoline for kids, and a gas barbecue that’s perfect for enjoying meals outside.

Beautiful house, thoughtfully decorated and a pleasure to spend time in. It is also huge so lots of space to make yourself at home. All appliances, white goods etc in perfect working order and all furniture comfortable and tidy, linens and towels very clean etc. The house throughout was very clean. Parking permits available on arrival so very easy and we had no issues with parking during our week long stay. Easy to walk to the seafront, shopping mall, aquarium etc and we enjoyed the walks. Very small asks would be to provide more dinner plates, side plates and bowls. As a family of 5 we went through everything in a day but it’s not enough to fill the dishwasher so no break from washing up on hols! A few basics like salt, pepper, oil would be welcomed to help with home cooking. As I said very small asks. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this home away from home for anyone travelling to Plymouth.

An absolutely unique and beautiful house, set amongst lovely grounds. The Christmas tree in the living room was such a nice touch as was the welcome basket full of goodies. We can thoroughly recommend exploring the woods and beach path behind the property. We loved sitting by the fire reading and hanging out in the cinema room in the evening. Thank you for such a quiet and peaceful stay.
