The Prayer Cabin is located at Lake Red Rock outside of Pella, IA. The cabin Is an Earthen/Berm home located on a 1 acre lot in a quiet & clean neighborhood. The lot boasts a wooded valley with many birds and squirrels to watch. The Prayer Cabin was recently remodeled with a brand new kitchen and bathroom. Our first guests asked us if Chip and Joanna were the creators of the design. 💚 Navy Blue cabinets, Tons of white shiplap and open shelving. Peaceful. A place of respite and relaxation.

Unique "Little Italy" Apartment

Drive into the attached garage and go upstairs where you will find your very private entrance to a quiet, peaceful, and restful living. Located 1 mile from the downtown area on a street loaded with large Oak and Walnut trees. A huge back yard in which to stroll or barbecue. It is the top half of my house complete with it's own kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. My residence is the bottom half of the house. Lots of excellent restaurants nearby. (Lustron homes are prefabricated enameled steel homes built post WWII and ended production in 1950. Very few are still in existence that are in near original condition, like this home.)

Windy Pines offers a spacious bedroom with a comfortable king sized bed and large bathroom. The kitchen and living room are great. This clean, comfortable, & uncluttered space is a home away from home! You will be surrounded by beautiful greenery, in a safe neighborhood with accessible parking. Close to interstate 80 & 35, the Iowa State Fair Grounds, and Downtown Des Moines. WP is attached to our home but with its own separate outside entrance. Please send me any questions.
