90 minutes from Nagoya. An inn where you can barbecue while watching the clear currents nestled in the hidden gem and ebara.Tent Sauna Paid Rentals

Our cottage is located at the banks of the Yuhara River, at the banks of the Uenbara River. Speaking of Gifu, Shirakawa-go and Hida Takayama are famous, but Enhara is also an inconvenient place in the mountains, but it is nice. The landscape of the mountains and rivers is beautiful, and it is a natural place where monkeys and deer appear. The Enhara River is a landmark of Japan's most beautiful underwater water and light, and the inn is located about 800 meters from the spring water point of underwater, so the transparency of the water is excellent. You can also see the light from the inn. On a summer morning, you can see a magical view of sunlight from among the trees due to weather conditions. The water in the Enhara River is cold, but in the summer, the children are playing in the river energetically. Temperatures drop a lot in the river, so even those who escape the heat and cool off. A little further downstream, there are several spots for swimming in the river, and the water is clear and beautiful, making it a pleasant place to swim. The water in the river shines a little deep in emerald green, the rock and moss landscape is fantastic, and it is a healing spot where the mind is purified. There is a deck facing the river on the second floor of the inn, so you can relax and forget about your daily life by having a BBQ while looking at the river, swinging in a hammock while listening to the river's murmur, or refreshing yourself in the tent sauna.

[The charm of the inn] It is a large old private inn built 80 years ago using the pure wood of the countryside. The most attractive feature is the quiet environment of a private rental in a dead-end village. There is a 200 square meter wooden house with a large 350 tsubo garden.Everything will be your own space. It's okay if the kids run around or the baby cries. You can also enjoy a BBQ under the blue sky.The eaves are large, and it is a pleasant environment where you can have a BBQ even if it rains.Outdoor equipment is also available for rent. Please feel free to contact us.* BBQs with 4 or more guests drinking alcohol are allowed until sunset. Traditional Townhouse & Garden in Quiet Castletown

Experience the charm of traditional Japan with all the senses in this finely crafted townhouse & surrounding garden. Gujo Hachiman is known as the “City of Water”, and owner & architect Yuri Fujisawa has lovingly restored this charming residence to embody the spirit of water. Located below the town’s medieval castle, this neighborhood was reserved for high-ranking samurai. While the historical streetscape is well-preserved, it remains an authentic neighborhood inhabited by friendly locals.

Cozy, Clean, Convenient & quiet home in Gifu

I came to Gifu in 2018, I think it was it’s unpretentiousness that attracted me . The people here seem relaxed and easy going, hospitable and very much in love with their hometown which in the Gifu park area retains much of the (Kyoto like) feeling of traditional Japan with it’s castle and a host of well maintained shrines. I don't think many people have heard of Gifu, even Japanese people, inspite of the Great heritage sights like Shirakawago, beautiful mountains and clear water rivers!
