Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Miyazaki

From the moment we stepped into Yuko-san’s home, we felt more than just welcomed—we felt at home. Her warm smile and kind hospitality made all the difference, turning our stay into something truly special. Her house was spacious and thoughtfully prepared, with everything a traveler could need, but what set it apart was Yuko-san herself. She surprised us with home-cooked meals and thoughtful treats. Snacks, fruits, and drinks were always available, making us feel completely at ease. One of the highlights was sharing wonderful drinking sessions with Yuko-san, exchanging stories and laughter. She gave us a glimpse into the heart of Kagoshima—something no hotel or standard Airbnb could offer. Leaving wasn’t easy, but we took with us wonderful memories and a deep appreciation for this rare experience. If you seek warmth, authenticity, and true local hospitality, Yuko-san’s home is the perfect place. Thank you, Yuko-san, for giving us a piece of Kagoshima that we will cherish forever.

Close to the station, easy to base! The room was also large and clean, so I am very satisfied.

I have been staying in Airbnb’s for over the last 10 years, and this experience with Fuyumi & Shiho was one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The room had all of the details one would need, including all the tools to make basic meals in the kitchen. The decor is simple and clean. The park view allows for great bird and falcon watching. Location is right in the heart Tenmonkan lots of restaurants and shopping, plus a very short distance to the pier if you plan to ferry out to Yakushima. The hosts were kind, communicative and helpful even when my ferry was cancelled they were able to accommodate an extended stay. This was truly a home away from home. If staying on the weekends note that there is some noise late at night due to nearby bars and clubs, which in Japanese cities can’t be helped.

We did not get to meet Tim but his lovely wife Kyoko greeted us. We had lunch in her cafe, food was excellent. Apartment had everything you need, including heat/ AC. Kyoko was kind enough to recommend a new and excellent onsen a five minute cab ride from their home. It was cheap and immaculate. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. The only caution I would give is that although the listing showed up in Kagoshima it is an hour train ride from Kagoshima. I didn’t look carefully enough at map.

Close to the station, clean, spacious

It is close to Kagoshima Nakahara station, it is very easy to find on the side of the road, we live on the 4th floor without elevator to carry luggage.Behind there are a lot of good shops on the food street, as well as many convenience stores and drugstores.There is a washing machine in the room that can be dried, there is simple cooking tools.The room space, both beds are relatively large, very clean, I will come back next time!

We asked a few questions in advance, and we were able to answer them with peace of mind.Checking in and out was also smooth.I felt the care of the owner everywhere in the room.There was free parking in front of the room, which was convenientWe look forward to welcoming you again.

It was a more luxurious house than the photos!I enjoyed playing simulated golf, sauna, and barbecue, but especially the sauna was great because the temperature went up to 110 degrees! I will use it again when I play golf in Miyazaki. Thank you for telling us about the butcher shop you recommended.

It's a really nice space and a lovely garden. I will definitely use it again when I visit Miyazaki. The only negative is that there were no curtains in the living room. At night, there are almost no traffic in front of the house, but I was curious to spend the night without closing the curtains without being seen. We will visit again next year. I hope to have curtains next year ~

This is a very nice apartment in the heart of Kagoshima. The kitchen was top-notch with quality appliances and cookware. The bathroom was excellent too and it was nice to have a washer and drier. We also appreciated many thoughtful touches, such as tea, coffee, coffee filters, bathroom amenities, new chop sticks, etc. . We felt right at home and would be happy to stay again -- highly recommended.

Convenient centrally located place. It’s in an area with a lot of bars and clubs, so you should be sure that is where you want to stay.
