Oslo is 40 minutes away, the fjord is on the plot, the golf course is 5 minutes away and not to mention Krokskogen with beautiful ski slopes, hiking and biking trails! The cabin is newly rehabilitated and is a great custom to come back to after active days out. No running water! Drinking water comes in cans (arranged by the host), water for washing is in the faucet on the porch. Combustion toilet.

Possibility for swimming and fishing in Tyrifjord Suitable especially for families with children. Many interesting sights can be reached with an hour's drive : Modum's blue color scheme with the Cobalt Mines, Vikersundbakken, Kongsberg with the Silver Mines, museums. There is a golf course in Sylling (Holstmark - about 14km ) About 70 km to Oslo - one hour car ride.

Around the property is a small forest that borders the Tyrifjord. A newly renovated and cozy older house located separately in the forest, with a large living room with fireplace, four spacious bedrooms, and lots of patio. Historical buzz: On the neighboring plot lived artist Anders Svarstad (1869-1943), who was married to Nobel laureate Sigrid Undset, and they were regularly on the farm.

The mines is now a museum that can be visited during summer. Approximately 40 min drive to Drammen and 75 min to Oslo.

Log Cabin with exceptional views 30 mins from Oslo

The Cabin is at the top of the hill so you will experience amazing views and extraordinary sunsets. View over Tyrifjorden. It has steep edges around the hut so small children will need to be supervised. The Cabin was built in the 1940's. The livingroom boasts enormous windows so the view is equally breathtaking both indoors and outdoors. 4x4 is recommended but you can also walk up the steep road roughly 15/20 minutes.
