Every need was taken care of in the cottage. The decor also added nicely to the ambience - sophisticated yet simple and reflective of Maine. The full kitchen was welcomed and allowed us to cook meals “at home.” The loft provided a quiet place for my son to study. I would highly recommend!

Out stay here was unbelievable! We could not be more happy with out accommodation of the ease of the experience. Marcia was a wonderful host. She made check-in easy and quick, and was very responsive. The welcoming packet was clear, concise, and outlined expectations. She also provided plenty of local restaurant menus in the local area, and a plethora of local attractions that made our stay even more enjoyable. The apartment was very comfortable and functional, allowing for plenty of storage and amenities for cooking. The neighborhood, while walkable, was very quiet and cozy. This was perfect for out quiet getaway. We will definitely be booking here again!

We recently moved from Alaska to Maine and needed a place to stay while looking for a house. We stayed at David’s for 2 months and it felt like being in our own home. The view on the lake was beautiful and everything was provided upon arrival. David periodically checked with us to make sure everything Wes going well and was very responsive if we had a question. We would definitely stay at David’s place again!!! I highly recommend David’s place if visiting central Maine.

I had a great month exploring Maine with my dog from this garage apartment. The owners are friendly but not intrusive. Some days my dog and I just laid a blanket on the grass and sat in the beautiful backyard. Go to Pickles Potions and get the body oil, it helped me keep bugs away.
