Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Monongalia County

I can't say enough positive things about my stay at John's home. It felt like I was staying with family. the location is great- close to a river trail, and peaceful. Super responsive & respectable host, fantastic kitchen & back deck. Can't wait to stay again! Thanks for making my stay comfortable John!

This was our third time staying here. Love the house, plenty of room for our family. The location is great as it is so close to restaurants, shops, the grocery store, and most importantly our family we were visiting. The deck is a great added space and the fenced in back yard is ideal for our dog.

We enjoyed our stay at Alison's place. Lovely location and great spot! Alison was super responsive and quick to answer questions even around the holidays. We would definitely stay again!

We went to Morgantown for a WVU football game and this location was close to the stadium and close to any store you may need to get to. Not walkable, but just a few miles away.

Leslie was a wonderful host… so friendly and responsive. House was comfortable, especially the large sectional and the puffy chairs on the porch. Kitchen was perfect to make a couple of meals for our kiddo. It was the perfect place to stay while catching up to our WVU student! Thanks Leslie. We’ll definitely stay again.

It was very roomy. The 9 of us were very comfortable.felt like home. Would rent again.

10/10 – Would Definitely Recommend We had 12 guys in town for a golf trip, and this place was perfect. Way bigger than I expected—I had to walk through a few rooms just to find someone. Tons of couch and armchair space to spread out. The pool and patio. Both solid A+, had everything we needed to cook/grill instead of going out. Plenty of TVs, you can watch whatever you wanted. We didn’t use the pull-out couches, but all the beds (even the bunks) were used, and it worked out fine. Plenty of towels, and they even stocked the fridge with eggs and milk, which was a nice touch. If we’re back in Morgantown, this is where we’re staying again. No question

Patty is a treasure. If you stay here, make sure you’re good to her! She has some rescued Dalmatians named Mickey and Minnie that will talk to you as you walk up and down the stairs, but if you’re a dog person like me you’ll just talk back some haha. I loved everything about Patty’s place, and it gave our drummer a spot to catch some more than needed rest. He was able to sleep for a whole day because of how comfortable and peaceful this place is. There’s some good food at the restaurant right on the corner, and a gas station nearby, which was really nice. Patty was very responsive and a great communicator. We talked for a good half hour or so on the porch and I enjoyed every minute! For the price and how close it is to Morgantown you cannot beat this place. It is SO much better than staying in the city! We’ve done both, and now we will be paying Patty a visit every time we are in the area!

Barbara and Vince were terrific. First stay but won't be our last. Went to WVU football game which was the only downside of the entire weekend as no Country Roads was sung on this day! Barbara was extremely thorough in her communications and willing provided some insights into nearby restaurants. She went above and beyond to accommodate us (thanks for the Soy Milk!) and we were happy we could actually meet both her and Vince and their pooches in person. Space is terrific, very large bedrooms, nice living area with kitchen, table and TV and an full equipped exercise room! Road to the house is very narrow so would recommend taking it easy in case you hit oncoming traffic but other than that could not have had a more enjoyable weekend with perfect accommodations. Some nice restaurants nearby as well as Cheat Lake. About 10 to 15 minutes to Morgantown for WVU activities. Almost hate to leave a review so we can keep this our little secret! We had a great stay at the Creekside Condo! Jesse was very proactive and gave clear instructions about how to find and check in to the condo. It was very clean, matched the photos, and even had free breakfast.
