Monthly Rentals in Monroe

We had a really nice stay at Carrie's. It felt cozy and homey and was super easy to find and settle into. There were so many little features around the home that made us feel comfortable and welcome. Even the surrounding area was absolutely gorgeous. The balcony off the back was perfect and was a great spot to enjoy some morning coffee. All of the instructions and descriptions were accurate and clear so we had no trouble finding the place and settling in. We had a great stay and will very likely make another trip out this way. Deborah was very responsive and accommodating. Her house is cute, quiet and very dog-friendly. It has an open front yard area on one side and a (very friendly) neighbor right on the other side. It is right off the main road, however it is very rural and quiet with lots of nature sounds and a beautiful porch. A lovely spot. Kitchen was very well stocked with spices, etc.

We enjoyed a short ski trip to Berkshire East. M's place was comfortable, spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and make coffee. They even had dog bowls and treats for our pup! Snow removal was completed early, allowing us to get out and on the slopes for the day. As M says in the description, you definitely need a vehicle with AWD or 4X4 since you are nestled in the mountains. We enjoyed the bountiful binder with history of the small town and local attractions. I would caution people with young children and older folks about the steep staircase to the 2nd floor where the bedrooms are. The 1 full bath is on the first floor so if you're like me, you need to navigate the stairs in the middle of the night. We didn't mind this since it is part of the charm of a historic building and our family of four including two teens had no problems. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

Amber is an excellent communicator. The apartment is very well equipped and easy to adapt to. Great location, easy to find and has a dedicated parking spot which is terrific where there is no overnight on street parking. AND we even had fresh eggs from Amber’s hens.
