I want guests to feel nostalgic, to say this is what we did when we were kids. To share those memories with their own kids and to make new memories together. You can stroll to the jetty to fish, paddle-board or kayak or take a short drive to some our best surfing beaches. Walk to the shop for supplies and take-aways, or 5 minutes drive to South Arm to a great cafe, RSL club and pharmacy. Within a stone's throw to a gorgeous quiet sandy beach Possum's Nest is the perfect getaway.

Come drift for a while.

Afloat Studio at Flotsam Dunalley

Flotsam has two fabulous fully self-contained studios, right at the entrance to the Tasman Peninsula. Each has their own private surroundings and fantastic views. We are about 30 mins due east of Hobart Airport. It's ideal for one-night stays, but, if time permitting, treat yourself to a few days so you can explore this incredible area which is all within easy reach. The Studios are well-designed and modern, and have lovely touches which will make your stay very comfortable and special.

The kitchen has had a modern renovation in 2025, new kitchen modern appliances have been introduced to this area.

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.

Welcome to our peaceful Bruny Island shack. Situated at the north end of Bruny Island it is a perfect place to just relax and enjoy the views, stroll along the beach or brunch at the local cafe. Enjoy the wildlife with Echindas and Quolls frequent visitors to the garden and plenty of wallabies and pademelons too.
