When it was first spotted this old Umbrian cowshed had stood derelict for over 40 years and was in desperate need of some TLC. Now, newly completed (summer 2022) this traditional rural building has been lovingly restored by the owner architect, who with the help of amazing local craftsmen has sensitively combined the best of contemporary design with traditional restoration work. The farmhouse among the oaks

The Casale tra le querce is located in the Tuscan Maremma, immersed in nature between oaks and olive groves. It is part of the farmhouses built by the Torlonia family in the 1900s, the ideal place for those looking for a place away from the chaos of the city. The farmhouse is located about 10 min. from the Etruscan necropolis of Vulci and Castro, 15 min. from the caves of Poggio Conte and Ripatonna, 30 min. from the mediaeval cities of Pitigliano, and 5 min. minutes from the Terme di Vulci.

The Wood's House between Umbria and Tuscany

The house is surrounded by dense Mediterranean vegetation and a 1,000 m² garden. The house is equipped with 2 rooms mezzanine ( the ceilings are high about 5 meters ) and was restored preserving the characteristic local stone . Within a radius of about 25-30 km you will find: Citta' della Pieve, Orvieto, Cetona, San Casciano de' Bagni and many more ... In an hour by car you can reach cities such as Florence, Siena, Perugia, Assisi, in addition to Val D'Orcia and Val di Chiana.

Casina Tuscia is a completely renovated and efficient villa where you can relax. Immersed in nature and surrounded by a beautiful native olive grove. We want to suggest to our guests that in September it will be possible to taste the grapes harvested directly from our rows. Also in November, you can taste the new oil from our plants. In the immediate vicinity is the beautiful Tuscia Terme Thermal Park. For stays of at least 3 nights, we will give you one free entrance.

The house we offer is located on our property where there are other small properties that we use with our family during the weekends and holidays.
