Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Montpelier

This place was perfect for our large group. To start plenty of parking in the drive way. Plenty of room in the house for everyone to not feel on top of eachother. The hot tub was great after a few long days of skiing. Lastly if you’re looking for a place close to the mountain it doesnt get much more convenient than this location. Also plenty of places to grab drinks or food near by. Would definitely stay here again

We checked in to Kalyn’s house just before a storm gave us 15” of fresh snow. What a great place to get cozy in the winter! The house is remarkably clean given its rustic charm. The beds and bedding were all amazing. The record collection and fireplace set the mood for cooking and enjoying a meal. Our two sons and sheepdog Denver loved it too!

Neal's place was a perfect home base for a long weekend of skiing at craftsbury. The house was cozy and worked perfectly for us! If you have more than 2 people, the additional beds / futons are in the main living room, so be aware of that, but it's ideal for 2 people. Maple syrup and honey were truly top notch!

Our group loved our stay at this home. It was extremely homey and cozy for our ski weekend with lots of sleeping space and a good kitchen. The hosts left very clear guidelines and recommendations for the area. We appreciated that guests are able to use the fire place and loved that the soaps/laundry detergent are more eco friendly and sensitive skin friendly!! Our only recommendation is to bring extra paper towels and toilet paper as they do not provide enough for the large amount of people that the home can host. Our group would love to come back!

This cabin is the perfect VT log cabin retreat. My family and I stayed three nights this past weekend and loved it the minute we walked in. Rustic but with. modern appliances and amenities and tons of charm. The giant stone fireplace was not only beautiful but really helped heat the space well. As in any log cabin, there are some drafty spots, but the heat works well and there are lots of cozy blankets if you catch a draft. There is no heat upstairs and I was a bit worried about that as it was in the teens when we arrived, but the heat from downstairs does help upstairs and there are tons of blankets in each room. Great sleeping conditions! The house was stocked with all the basics and any items you may have forgotten. The whole cabin was spotless and well maintained. Surrounded by lots of woods it is a very peaceful spot and a convenient drive to Sugarbush. Stephen was very responsive and friendly and accommodated us when we needed a later check out time.

Very nice house felt right at home . Private house with a great location large bedrooms with king size beds . Would definitely recommend and return to stay .

Sam and Errin's properties are our go to when visiting Burlington. Super comfy bed, nice kitchen and living room space for visiting with family were perks of this one, good coffee set up and local recommendations. We enjoyed hiking at Red Rocks park and biking along Champlain path with rentals from Ski Rack. Walked to dinner at Pho Hong (so yummy) via N Winooski Ave on first night, grabbed a horchata at Taco Gordo (looked lively & fun) on way back. Grabbed pastries at nearby Barrio Bakery the next morning. Walked to celebratory dinner at A Single Pebble (wow, so good) on the second night via Elmwood & Church. Grabbed pastries at Great Harvest Bakery (five stars) on way out the next morning. Good sleep, good eats, thank you for another wonderful stay, we'll be back!

Great place to stay for skiing Sugarbush or Mad River Glen, convenient to restaurants and shops. Very quiet setting, just be prepared for a little bit of non-paved road to climb to access it. The apartment felt more spacious and open than I expected, and accommodated 3 adults quite comfortably. Wax bench was a nice bonus for us skiers!

The place was everything we expected and more! Lynn was super nice and helpful, we informed her that we were running early and she let us check in to the Airbnb 40 minutes early. We loved having all that space to explore with the dogs. It truly was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. I would love to come back in the fall!

Cozy one bedroom apartment two blocks away from Downtown Burlington. It had a nice fireplace that was easy to use, large king sized bed and nice kitchen amenities. The tvs both had access to Netflix and other streaming options. The included parking was very helpful as the street parking gets congested. Since it is close to downtown, it can be a bit noisy at night with college students walking to and from the bars. We had an issue with the microwave but Vanessa helped with the issue. We wished that there were more than two towels for us to use for our four night stay and tissues to use. Altogether it was a great stay for us with plenty to see downtown and in the surrounding areas.

This was our second stay here and we do love it very much and will continue to return as often as possible.

We stayed at this AirBnB as part of a family visit to North Hero, VT (further north) and I accidentally only booked one night instead of two. Jonathan was SUPER responsive and understanding, luckily there were no guests the second night so we extended the booking and Jonathan waived the cleaning fee for the first night so we only paid once. If you're looking for somewhere that can house numerous people in a quiet neighborhood and a host that's super responsive then highly recommend! Thanks again Jonathan!

This is a wonderful little apartment! We have had family stay here twice, since we are right down the street, and it's perfect. Clean, warm and toasty in the winter, everything in its place and a place for everything. Would absolutely have family stay here every time!

We had a wonderful time and felt right at home!! Her place is SPOTLESS and cozy. Simone’s instructions to get there were perfect. Everything is well labeled (like which switches do what), USB ports on bedroom lamps., binder with check in/check out info. Couch is 10/10 for post-ski nap, beds and linens are super comfortable. Kitchen items look brand new. Shower pressure is also 10/10 There is a shuttle that takes you to the resort with a stop in this neighborhood (5-10 min walk), but uphill so with kids and ski gear we drove to resort each day (2-3 min drive). The houses in the neighborhood are spaced out so you don’t feel like you are right on top of someone but also aren’t completely secluded in the wilderness. We stayed Presidents’ Day weekend and skied Lincoln Peak. The lift lines moved quickly and didn’t feel overly crowded. This rental was priced higher than other rentals we considered, but based on pristine condition and ease of our stay it was worth it!!!

We loved staying at JP’s villa. When we arrived the house was clean and looked just like the photos. It was cozy and had a nice flow to the living area. Upstairs the bedrooms were spacious and each had their own bathroom. Smart TV’s were great, and the sound system/speaker was a nice touch. We hosted my parents for dinner one night and it was nice to be able to put on some music. My kids really enjoyed the sleds that were provided in the carport. They spent hours sledding down the hill in front of the property! Thank you so much for hosting us.

This was perfect for my son and I to relax in over a weekend at Pico. Everything was clean, comfortable, and we loved the fireplace as an added touch. Convenience and location were perfect; walk right out the front door and you're skiing with the buzz of the lodge right there - true ski in and out. We will definitely stay here again, for longer next time hopefully!

This Villa at Trapp Family Lodge is large and comfortable. It fullfills all the basics for a winter cross-country ski vacation and not far from Mount Mansfield for downhill skiing, and is as described. The General facility and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Fortunately we had the good fortune to have had very good weather - a bit on the cool side, but really good snow and the whole week the ski conditions were very good. A great place to gather.

The Little Maple House is terrific! What a great chance to stay in a historic home that is furnished with beautiful accent pieces and antiques yet feels homey if you have a rainy day movie night, or want to cook in. The neighborhood is so convenient! Bring your walking shoes, to head downtown, or over to breweries, galleries, and the Farmer's Market over on Pine. The girls and I (all senior women) easily walked thousands of steps a day chasing art pieces, photographing murals, grabbing coffee and gab sessions, and enjoying music at the local breweries. When I did have a question come up, the hosts responded immediately, what more could you ask for?

Anuska’s place was great for a ski weekend at Stowe! It was ~40 minute drive to the mountain and a reasonable price. Beware, it is off of a dirt road which got a bit muddy. I would recommend a 4WD vehicle in those rainy & warm months. The hot tub was great and we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice home with great amenities. Great location to and from everything. Nicely distributed with space for everyone. Beds were comfortable and the home has plenty of towels etc. Overall it was a great place for weekend or longer. Maria was easy to communicate with and there were no issues.

We rented Lucus' home in Grand Isle for 4 days during school vacation week. 2 adults and 5 kids and everyone had a blast! There was something for everyone to do. The views of lake Champlain are amazing and the sunrise each morning was a major highlight for both adults and kids. Lucas offered some great local recommendations for food and things to do. I can't recommend this Airbnb enough, it was so memorable and exceeded our expectations. We will definitely consider staying here again when we are back in the area.
