It is conveniently located just 3 stops from Kyoto Station (about 13 minutes by ride), but it is not crowded, so you can spend quietly avoiding the crowds.Easy access to major tourist attractions in Osaka, Kyoto, and Shiga (Fushimi Inari 35 minutes/Uji 45 minutes/Gion 40 minutes, Osaka 46 minutes).Close to the world cultural heritage of Enryaku-ji Temple, Omi Shrine, and Hiyoshi Taisha Shrine, you can also walk around the lake while enjoying Japanese cultural heritage such as Karasaki Shrine and Sakamoto Castle Ruins within walking distance.
