Our stay at the Willis lake house was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, their hospitality was evident through the detailed guide they provided, filled with excellent recommendations for hikes, local farmers’ markets, and attractions in Gananoque and Kingston. The lake house itself is a masterpiece—modern, meticulously designed, and equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our time there. We loved spending our days on the dock, swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking. The breathtaking scenery and the perfect blend of tranquility, nature, and stunning sunset views made our stay unforgettable. We can’t wait to return next year!

It fit my purposes perfectly as I was just spending the night before fishing on Charleston Lake the next day, 2 minutes from the boat launch. It’s in a really beautiful spot and is very cosy. The bed was very comfortable and the heater made quick work of the morning chill. The fire pit area is excellent. The unit itself is a strange mix of modern and not. There is no running or hot water, you have to pump water with a handle from large bottles under the sink. The toilet definitely takes some getting used to. Would stay again if I’m in the area.

It was a wonderful stay! We loved the location and the cottage itself. Beautiful nature, huge territory to enjoy your privacy. The cottage itself has everything whatever you might need. Everything was super clean and comfortable. Leigha is a great host, she contacted us prior to our visit explaining every detail on the check-in process etc. She also left some notes with suggestions and recommendations. We had a great time there and definitely would love to come back again. 100% can recommend Leigha's place for you next trip

Anne-Marie was a wonderful host and made sure our one-night stay was the best it could be. The place was cozy and felt like home—perfect for a family of six. Chaffeys Lock was definitely a hidden gem, located less than an hour from Thousand Islands. I would absolutely recommend this place and would be happy to return during the summer season!
