Absolutely fantastic location and host! The house was so comfy and private yet still close to the conveniences of the town of Selfoss. Loved seeing the horses outside the windows everyday. Great shower. Comfortable bed. The host was outstanding and accommodating! Don’t miss out!!

We traveled with an infant and since no one was using the place the day before, Hildur allowed us to come straight from our flight! It was so incredibly nice of them and my daughter appreciated the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. Overall, the place is beautiful, spacious, and had an incredible review. I’d recommend this AirBnb to anyone!

This house is absolutely magical! Far enough away that you don’t have to see another soul if you don’t want to, but close enough to the city to make it easily drivable for day trips or tours in Reykjavik. Perfect temperature inside during cold months, simple yet luxurious in the amenities provided, and incredible location to see the aurora! The hosts were extremely communicative and kind and helped us through the entire trip. This is THE house to stay at in this area and WORTH EVERY PENNY!

The accommodation was very big and nice because it was used by two people. The response speed was always fast and friendly The kitchen was spacious, so it was easy to cook. There was a washer and dryer, so it was very convenient. If I come back to Iceland, I will definitely stay there

We were two families (4 adults, 4 children) staying at Himri and would highly recommend it as a place to stay. The house is beautiful, with lots of space and the surrounding area is lovely. It has great access to all the main sites around the Reykjavik region. The house is laid out really well, with lots of space to chill out and relax and all of the fittings feel new and modern. As a family of 3 with a 3 year old, this flat was absolutely perfect for our needs and perhaps our best lodging find yet in reykjavik. Walkable to restaurants and shops, easy parking. Beds we’re comfortable. The modern bathroom was spacious with tub. Communication was amazing. Would most definitely stay again!

A beautiful apartment that looks just like the photos! Comfy beds, spacious living room, well-stocked and modern kitchen. And super close to the downtown, many parks, and coastline. We really enjoyed our stay here!

My family and I (5 adults) had a great stay there. Hjalmar and his wife greeted us when we arrived at the house. He was very responsive and flexible with our check-in. The place was clean and comfortable. It had everything. We would stay there again. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Brynja’s. She was incredibly helpful, and her place was everything and more! It was spacious, allowed us to have cooked meals, and was such a short drive to downtown. Brynja met us there, showed us around, shared her favorite candies with us, and checked in throughout our trip. We’ve already told her we can’t wait to come back. The highlight was the indoor patio which let us listen to the rain/snow drizzle outside when winding down for the night. Thank you for an unforgettable stay and for sharing your home with us.

Lovely home! Even though there is no cleaning fee and guests clean up after themselves, the house was spotless, with fresh bed linens and a well-maintained space. It has everything you need, making it feel more like a home rather than a hotel or a typical Airbnb. We truly appreciated the warm and inviting atmosphere. Ideal base to explore the city, Orri's house is a very nice and charming place and equipped with every comfort. I think the house is quite old, it has a steep narrow staircase, but that didn't matter to us. Great stay!!

We had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment. It was a nice location to be outside the city but have easy access to main roads and shops. We chose this place as it was walking distance to our friends' house. Heba's decor is very pleasing and the kitchen had everything we needed. The space is well designed for relaxation and practicality. It was easy to park our rental car in the driveway.

Olafur lists his response time as 11 hours, but he was usually much quicker than that. His was a nice place accessible to many restaurants and not far from the downtown area. Quiet at night, lots of parking, a great home away from home.

Great stay in Reykjavik! Highly recommend to anyone looking to spend some time in the city. Walkable to many museums, restaurants, and shops. Super convenient! The hot tub is an added bonus :)

We had a great stay in Selfoss. The condo is tucked into a complex of sorts. There is a playground very close which was great for our kids. The condo was very cozy, clean and comfortable. We were out sightseeing most of our time and this was a great “home base”. Not much to see right around the condo but that didn’t bother us. The condo had everything we needed and more. Thanks for a great stay!!

This place was amazing and central to everything you need. Restaurants were walkable from the apartment as well as bus stops for excursion pick up. There are two stops you can choose bus stop 1 and bus stop 3, only a 2 minute walk. Place was very clean and Emma went above and beyond to decorate one of the rooms for our newlywed friends. When we come back I would absolutely book this place again.
