Family-friendly vacation rentals in Mount Hood Village

Great time as always! We’ve stayed here twice now. Such a peaceful stay and serene while being close to the store/essentials.

This place is a gem, for sure! What really stood out to us was that the house felt loved and cared for, in all the best ways. The garden was charming with its ponds and gazebo, and both house and yard made excellent use of space and felt much larger than the square footage would imply. Tabor Bread was an easy walk away and its pastries were delightful. There were many other restaurants in walking distance too. Dallas was an extremely responsive host and made us feel right at home. We would gladly stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our visit, making everything feel so easy and welcoming. We especially appreciated the emphasis on creating a family-friendly environment — it made our trip even more special. Great memories were made, and we’re already looking forward to returning. We stay with Therese about twice a year and have done so for years. It is close to our adult granddaughter's apartment and is a great place for our family to hang out together for meals and movies and other family activities. We love the peaceful surroundings including many big, beautiful old trees and proximity to the river. And though we have been coming for years, we still discover new things. This trip two of the new things in the neighborhood include J&R Mexican Food on McLoughlin, which has very tasty and reasonably priced Mexican food, as well as discovering Stringfield Family Park only a few blocks away on SE Naef Rd. It is also along the Trolley Trail (another good things for fitness walkers to know about in the neighborhood. Stringfield is a lovely place to have a picnic or stroll along a creek whose residents include ducks and nutria, and if you have playground age kids, they will love the fun and creative play structures! We always love staying at Therese's!

Wonderful accommodations. Hot tub was lovely, cabin privacy and forest surrounding were just as described. This was the perfect location to take some groceries and a good book. We made our own dinner, all required kitchen items were included, including everything needed to clean up after ourselves. Our pup loved it there as well. I'm not sure it's listed in the description but the stairs to the second floor were very steep with no traction. had to carry the husky down them for her safety. Other than that this place is absolutely perfect!

What a fantastic experience! Melissa is a great host and I could not ask for a better AirBNB. The home was very cute and for me and my girlfriend felt like our own little apartment! It’s got a lot of charm! The only thing that happened was the power went out while we were making dinner, but it was an easy fix! Thank you!

House was wonderful in everyway. Views were beautiful and only 5 minutes from Hoodriver.

We had a wonderful stay! This cabin is so beautiful and we felt right at home! Amanda was very responsive and helpful for all questions. The hot tub was spacious and hot! Perfect after a long day of skiing. Cabin is within walking distance to everything in government camp. 10/10 recommend. Might have to stay here again! :) Thank you Amanda!

The Art House perfectly met our needs. From the cozy fireplace to the comfy beds, we felt right at home on this mother-daughter time away. Leah was very responsive and provided a clear balance of privacy and friendliness -- respecting our time alone but inviting us to stop by to say hello should we choose :) We're looking forward to returning with the rest of the family.

Cute little studio in the country. It was a nice place to stay. We enjoyed the environment and the farm animals. The directions were clear on how to find the place and Julie was quick to respond to any messages I sent.

The location was convenient to all of the places we were kayaking. When my friends and I travel, we often prefer to cook at home and Bruce 's kitchen had everything we needed to grill and bake. The ninja bullet and food scale were appreciated!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Susan and Steve's Casita for an extended stay. They are such kind, friendly, and attentive hosts! The Casita is so comfortable and quiet and you can't beat the location. The Alberta Arts District is a vibrant community with excellent restaurants, art galleries, taphouses and cafes within walking distance. Susan and Steve had excellent recommendations for us on places to go in the area. We highly recommend this accommodation for your next trip!!

I had a great experience during my four-night stay at Debra and David's home. The house was truly wonderful, making me feel completely at home. It was evident that the house was filled with beautiful memories. Debra was very helpful and attentive to her guests. All the essential amenities, along with some additional comforts, were readily available—everything you could possibly need was provided.

Diane's airbnb is conveniently located for us to visit our kids and grandkids, and also anyone who has students at Reed College. We love the feel of the neighborhood, and walking around at night is beautiful around Christmas time with lights on houses. Also, I should add, the bed was very very comfortable. Dianne and Michael made us feel welcome!

Always a great time at Collins Lake Resort! Wonderful place to stay.

Great location and a beautiful view. Even though there are a few cabins next door, it feels completely private. All the windows face a beautiful forested area and creek. The hot tub was wonderful and the house is clean.

This is a nice and spacious basement apartment of a larger family home located in a beautiful and walkable neighborhood. The owners’ garden is lovely and quiet and there are windows in the apartment for light and fresh air. The shower is powerful and spacious with plenty of hot water. The kitchen had just what we needed, too. Perfect for a couple. Very private and peaceful and walking distance to restaurants. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

We have visited many times and continue to find the place and Tracy to be top-notch which is one of the reasons we keep coming back. The place checks all of our boxes for a relaxing, romantic getaway.

We had a great stay at Nedra’s place! We loved the walking path in the back next to the river, it was beautiful and peaceful! We also loved the rock band and spent the bad weather day inside relaxing and playing rock band as a family. Something we never do so it was super fun! There was plenty of food places nearby so we took advantage of that as well as cooked breakfast in the fully stocked kitchen! Beautiful location, fully functional house we would definitely love to stay again!

Julie was a generous host. It was a peaceful place for my family to stay and easy for our local family to come for meals and visit. Every morning we had coffee on the large private deck. We sat on the deck some evenings and enjoyed the fresh air and complete lack of mosquitoes. The two full bathrooms for the five of us were essential. We booked this house to have a great place to stay-in and have local family over but it was also close to many things in Portland. The zoo and the science museum were two of them. Julie was responsive to requests and just a very kind person.

Place was just what we were looking for. Plenty of space the 4 of us to have our own rooms, and could have accommodated many more. Felt very private for being a condo, and had good cooking amenities. The pool, though lacking in aesthetic, was really warm and appeared to be cleaned daily, I enjoyed the evening swims. Thanks for sharing the lovely space!

Loved our time at Eric’s place. Perfect retreat and close to Mt Hood
