Cosy home, neat & tidy environment. The owner stays in the house, elderly woman who respects people and appreciates being respected. The neighbourhood is quite. There are tenants, a young couple in an apartment outside the house. I relate very well with people.
“Koleka is an exceptional host. She is very kind and interesting. Koleka has wonderful tips on where to eat in Mthatha and where to visit in the area. The listing is safe, clean and inviting. It's well located and just a 2km drive to the Nelson Mandela Museum in Mthatha. The breakfast omlettes are truely amazing. If it was possible, I would have given Koleka a 10 (out of 5!). Highly recommended.”
It's a small space for a single person looking to spend a night or few. It has a 3/4 bed and a bathroom. Laundry can be done at an extra charge. It is in a fully fenced complex with 24 hour security. We have a garage about 4km away from us with a steers, debonairs, kfc and fishaways. The mall is next to the garage as well where one can get everything they need

“Mark's BnB exceeded all of my expectations. From the very beginning, Mark was the perfect host, with prompt and helpful replies, suggesting places for me to visit after Mthatha (I took his advice and had an amazing trip in the Transkei), and being very accommodating with my check-in time. Upon arrival I was met by his friendly team, and blown away by the beautiful leafy suburban home I was staying in. It was very peaceful. My room was large, clean, equipped with a TV, and homely. I was offered food and drinks immediately, and made to feel at home. I was in Mthatha for a wedding but spent much of time chatting to Mark and the people staying at his BnB, and their warmth and friendliness stood out as the highlight of my trip. They made sushi for me for dinner and a stunning breakfast when I woke up. Not only did they point out the best place to buy a local shirt from, but they even helped tailor it to fit me for the wedding! Upon leaving, Mark made sure I knew where I was going for my next stop and offered to lend me a beach towel. I had come expecting just a room to stay in, but left in a truly happy splendour, surprised by the friendship and warmth I had received. I would thoroughly advise anybody who has to stop anywhere near Mthatha to stay at Mark's BnB. I will certainly be returning.”
