Parking is available at the house. 300 meters from public transport - train and bus. In Gilleleje there are several restaurants, cafes and pizzerias. Of course there are fish halls at the harbor where you can buy freshly caught fish, and the sale of fresh fish from the side of the fishing boats. Max. 20 minute by car to several amazing nordsealand golf clubs. Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. The house is located in lovely quiet nature surroundings down to Esrum Å. From the house there is a view of the garden, Å and fields. Next to the house is the main house where sometimes there may be some. The house is newly built with nice kitchen and bath and everything a house should have. 10 min walk from beautiful sandy beach. In addition to a large double bed for 2 people, the house has a 140 cm box mattress in the loft. Suitable for 1 person. There is free access to kayaks, sup, fire pit, bicycles and fishing rods. Wilderness bath ( for a fee)

This natural gem is located north of Helsinge in the North Zealand of the Kings with views of open fields and forests. It's 200 meters to the forest where there are good chances to go on a mushroom hunt or just go for a walk in the lovely nature. My residence is two minutes' walk from Hornbæk Plantation. It is a dog forest and takes only five minutes to walk down to the beach. We are very fond of dogs and therefore guests with dogs are welcome with us. To minutes walk from Hornbæk Plantation - five minutes walk to the coast. We are fund of animals - and dogs are wellcome.
