Beachfront vacation rentals in Munster

We stayed as a family for a week and we loved staying in a mobile home. Our kids loved the novelty of it. It's very well equipped and Mary was a very responsive host. There's a tiny little rocky beach near the mobile. The boat to Beara is also nearby, you can walk to the pier. There's loads to do in the vicinity if the weather is nice. We loved the beach in Allihies, and also Dunboy woods which is just out of town. It's a bit out of town so you'd definitely need a car. There's a garage/spar about 3 km up the road, that's the closest shop. Castletownbere is about 5 mins away and has a Supervalu and lots of little shops and restaurants. We found two that we loved, Murphys and the Lobster place, both delicious and reasonable. Would go again!

The Nissen Hut is a fabulous little spot for a couples get away. Right on the water, it was a pleasure to sit out and admire the views from the comfort of its deck, or cosy inside the hut itself with the fire on. Evelyn was extremely communicative throughout our stay, with helpful local recommendations or just checking in that we were ok. The hut itself is beautiful, with everything you could need for a short stay. Comfortable bed, beautiful fire, lovely location what more could you ask for! We were blessed with the weather during our stay managing to take in the beautiful walk up to Portally Cove to watch the seals (you can join the walk from right outside the front door!) and then have a kayak in Rathmoylan Cove where my husband caught a huge seabass! Thanks again, and we will definitely be back!

We had a lovely and relaxing 3 night stay at Rosie's place. The space was perfect for our needs, is very well equipped and overlooks such a lovely calming tidal bay. Rose communicated with us extremely well througout our stay. Highly recommend for a stay and thanks 😀

The creativity cabin is a wonderful home away from home. There is gorgeous mountain and sea views and plenty of opportunities to see the nearby wildlife. Anne is an outgoing and friendly host who is also very respectful of guests privacy. The cats are also wonderful :)

Second time staying at the Lazy Acre! Always a great time staying in this lovely home. Great location (ten-minute walk from the town centre or Celtic Ross), close to the beach (Warren Beach), peaceful and very clean. The house can fit a group of seven people for a weekend. Booked the Lazy Acre again for the Rosscarbery Surf Turf and Tar. Anne and Gerry are lovely hosts, as always. Very responsive, respectful and very helpful with recommendations. Can’t wait to book it again for next year.

Our stay at Joan's was very relaxing. It was exactly what I expected and wanted. Waking up to the view of the sea out the window was perfect each day. The locals are extremely friendly and always happy to talk. The apartment itself is very spacious and comfortable and has all of the amenities needed. I will definitely be back again.

Mary and Christie were absolutely fantastic hosts and I would highly recommend a stay here, lovely walks to be done in the area, looking forward to going back again

We had a wonderful stay at the Beach House! Location, location, location is what it was all about, just stunning! Great outdoor and indoor space for all of the family. We all enjoyed the sauna and it was just a pity that the hot tub was not in use, but it did not spoil anything. The only thing to be mindful of is the shortage of hot water when taking a shower, which i think has been mentioned in previous reviews. However, overall it's the most amazing location and house for a break in West Cork and we really hope we will be back one summer in the future!

West Cork holds a special place in my heart, this little cabin made our stay very comfortable and the scenery was beautiful. Looking forward to seeing Matts Firepit in the future. The site is clean with modern conviences.

The most beautiful place I've ever stayed 🥰 it had absolutely everything you could want, and the hosts were so helpful & accommodating! We usually head to the sheeps head to go on the stunning trails but we honestly loved this place so much we decided to spend our whole time at the cottage instead 💕 it has its own private beach with crystal clear waters, the property has a lovely green almost surrounded by the sea. We spent morning noon and night just out on the grass. The night sky here is completely unbelievable, honestly could've slept outside under the stars it was so peacful with the sounds of the waves. The actual cottage was so charming, had all the homely feel of a traditional cottage with all modern amenities that youd need. Dont hesitate to book this you will not regret it! ❤️❤️

Kells Bay is small and beautiful and the view from Agnes's house was stunning. It's a roomy house and had everything we needed. Agnes ws available whenever we needed to chat and she checked in on us too. Fanradtic spot. Loved it. The local area is great too. A great base for seeing Kerry.

Cindy was a fantastic host. Very responsive and helpful from the point of booking. She provided us a long and detailed list of local attractions and information which was so helpful for our stay. The food and atmosphere in her family’s pub was also fantastic and so close by - would highly recommend. The house itself is exactly as shown in the photos. It was exceptionally clean, very well stocked with essentials and the location was second to none. We would highly recommend a stay here and Cindy as a host.

Water’s Edge is a very spacious comfortable house within easy reach (by car) of Roundstone, Ballyconneely and Clifden. Its setting on the water is incredible with the sunset views particularly memorable. We were a family group of three generations and there was room for everyone to eat together but also space to chill! We would love to visit this house again.

We had a lovely stay at the home of Geraldine and her family. The house is very spacious with a nice garden, and it is fantastically located directly on the beach and with a very nice view to all sides. It's a perfect base for trips, but for our kids, meeting the calves on the farm was the highlight of our vacation. We would definitely recommend this place!

Barbara was a great host. The house was perfect come rain or shine. The Spar shop in Carraroe is only 5 minutes away and was as good as any medium sized supermarket with great choice. Don’t miss the Realt pub if you want a good pint of Guinness

Amazing and unique experience with incredible waterfront views. Saoirse was very welcoming prior to our trip and checked in frequently before we arrived. Her instructions were clear and the house was immaculate, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. We felt like we were at home the minute we walked in the door, and were blown away with the amenities and views. The house is a short walk from the beach/boardwalk and the town center, but you don't even have to leave the house to have a great experience here.

Excellent house in a beautiful setting! Lots of space for 8 adults, and a 7 and 10 year old. The spacious garden, books, games and toys available in the house were a great hit. The house is within walking distance of Rosscarbery and Warren Beach. Would recommend to family and friends and stay here again!

We loved our holiday at Eimear and Eoin's home! It was a lovely place to spend Easter and celebrate our daughter's birthday. The home is perfectly located on the water and had everything we needed. They were very responsive to any inquiries and helpful with any questions. The layout of the house is great for a family with plenty of space and spectacular views. We can't wait to return.

We had a great stay in Berry Lodge. Perfect for a a large family gathering. So much space. Great to be able to bring the dog too. David was very helpful and responsive when needed. So close to the beach in Spanish point and a great location to explore Clare. Will be back again

Best Airbnb experience we've ever had! Here are a few things that make Heron's Rest so special; spectacular views loads of space practical, well-equipped kitchen supremely comfy beds, linens and pillows great showers laundry room with washer and dryer lovely, separate dining room with views overlooking the Harbor spacious bedrooms with room to store and hang clothes amazing quiet great walks (forest and sea) accessible from the house The one thing that made our stay truly special, though, was Robert, who should be hired by Airbnb to teach Hosting! From the remarkably thoughtful welcome basket that included spaghetti and pasta sauce, fresh baked bread, local cheeses, biscuits / crackers, chocolate, a delicious locally produced Relish, etc. to his enthusiasm and local knowledge (the English Market in Cork City Center was great) he made our Airbnb stay very special. Thank you again!

An elegant house in a truly beautiful location. Our whole family (toddlers to grandparents) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lough Hyne. Tim, the property manager, could not have been more helpful and responsive to any requests. Missing it already and definitely would stay there again another year!
