An old horse stable with boxes and workshop, was remodeled by me to a rustic and original apartment. Many animals from the farm come very close and want to be begged or petted. Extra bookings can be made: breakfast, billiard basement as well as a charcoal grill and a simple kitchen available 10 meters away. Since the property is in the middle of an animal husbandry facility, no standard should be expected as in a Hilton in order not to be disappointed.

Within walking distance is the site of the UNESCO World Heritage Zollverein as well as a network of bicycle paths. The Berlin architect Prof. Sigurd Larsen has designed a guest unit in the form of a "house in a house" that is freely accessible and rented here.
