Vacation rentals with lake access in Murray River

Cannot recommend Di’s place at Kirwans Bridge more highly - perfect for a group to base themselves and visit nearby wineries and towns. Golden hour over the Goulburn is spectacular. Thanks for having us!

We loved Jo's very interesting house which had all the amenities and more. Lovely, peaceful surroundings, and the house is very well set up, with comfortable beds and even Easter eggs and bunnies (we saw a few wild bunnies as well). Lovely outside BBQ dining area with special lighting, and kayaking on the lake.

Our family had a wonderful stay! Whilst prices are on the rise for Easter stays, given we have been going to the area for a number of years we all felt the price here was reasonable. If prices go up any higher in the area it would probably go over our budget and sadly, we’d have to consider other Easter options. An Easter stay is becoming a luxury for families.

Stayed here multiple times. Mark is a great host and the property is fantastic. Clean, quiet, well appointed and perfect for our family boating holiday, especially when the lake is close to capacity.

We were a party of 4 on a girls trip. We had a wonderful stay with everything you would need available. The house was in an amazing position making it easy to walk around the lake each day and an easy walk to town. The balcony and spa were a great addition and we spent many happy hours out there. The house was very clean and well equipped. We easily parked our 3 cars in the entryway. The beds were comfortable and the house was very spacious. Thank you for having us in your beautiful home.

Beautiful place to stay, very spacious for a family and has everything you need for a short or long stay. Host is very friendly and helpful. Bedrooms are comfortable and generous with sizing. Location is amazing, very close to shops and within a reasonable drive to larger rural cities.

Leigh and Naomi have been very helpful since the booking was confirmed. The apartment is very cozy and clean. We also cooked there with all the equipment (and seasonings) available, what a great place to stay in Ballarat 🩷

We had a fabulous weekend here. The place was well set up for kids, our 5yr old had a ball and Kurt and Nanette were very helpful and welcoming. Everything required was provided and more... The location was super convenient for Sovereign Hill and other local attractions.

Had a wonderful stay, the place was everything as described, spacious, very clean and well equipped with everything you need, and we especially liked that it was so close to Lake Daylesford. The balcony backed out onto the lake and was the prefect spot to relax and watch the sunset. Something to note for anyone with mobility issues, this suite (3) can only be accessed by a slightly steep flight of stairs which proved to be a little difficult for my elderly mum, would’ve have been great if this was included in the details beforehand. There also seemed a slight problem with toilet seat (wasn’t fitted properly) and some information contained in the ‘information file’ in the suite contradicted with the details (check-out times) that was provided. However overall, we had a fabulous stay, it is a gorgeous place and would definitely recommend!

Lake View is in a perfect location, close to town centre, lovely lake/river walk and galleries. The house had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable.

The Shearer's is a lovely, relaxing and peaceful place to have a few days to rest and recuperate. We enjoyed having a peaceful spot to relax after day trips to the surrounding towns. Michael was very helpful and the children enjoyed having a fire to toast marshmallows. We highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Les Chalets The place was beautifully maintained, clean, and comfortable. Nina is a nice person, instructed everything clearly and explained about everything.The location was ideal, with stunning views. We highly recommend this appartments to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay. Nina truly made our stay special.

Beautiful place to stay with plenty of room for the family to spread out and relax after each days competition. Lovely quiet area with nice surrounds for a walk and convenient access to shops. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again if we were in the Bendigo area.

I'd highly recommend Stephanie's country cottages to anyone looking for a peaceful bush getaway. A friendly and gracious host, we felt right at home straight away and the cottage was lovely and comfortable. The garden is a fantastic place to do some star gazing, then have a copy fire to warm back up. Just loved it. Thank you for having us Stephanie!

Very comfortable and clean little cottage. Couldn't believe how comfortably cool the cottage was even with windows open in the warm weather (without using a/c). Located in a lovely quiet small street. Garden was nice and well kept. short easy walk to main shops and eateries. Plenty of cooking utensils and lovely continental breakfast provsions supplied. Would highly recommend for a stay in Naracoorte. Thanks Marie.

Sue and Tonys place was absolutely perfect. Ticked all the boxes for the perfect weekend getaway. House was way better than expected. Imaculatly clean, all essentials provided, comfortable beds. So much to do on site! We didn't need to leave all weekend. Best part was kayaking in the dam and feeding and patting all the animals on site, including sheep, cows, alpacas and the kids favourite- Hilary the kelpie. Sue and Tony went out of their way to make our stay as incredible as it was. Dont hesitate to book this accomadation. We can't wait to be back!

We had such a wonderful stay! The home is beautifully decorated and has loads of charm. The location is close to town and to walking tracks. Sitting on the balcony in the afternoon sun was amazing. Would love to stay again.

Donna really surprise us with a beautiful detail for my kids. She was very flexible and we felt like home.

We spent a night at Dalton on the Lake and Denice went out of her way to make it special! The house itself is beautiful, spacious, and located right on the lake. Denice was extremely communicative and welcoming. She made us a dinner reservation at a nearby restaurant as we were getting in late, and had left a loaf of bread baking for us when we checked in. Truly lovely, would highly recommend and would happily stay again!

The location of this property is excellent — within a 10-minute drive to all the local restaurants and Lake Daylesford. The interior is simply yet comfortably furnished, making it a great option for a short family getaway. If you’re not bothered by being close to the main road, it’s not an issue. For families considering a longer stay, having a dryer would make it even more perfect.
