We had wonderful stay with Richard and Fiona as hosts. They were super friendly and welcoming. The views are spectacular and the location is ideal for getting to anywhere on Skye. The house is modern and cosy. Delicious breakfast ! . Would definitely stay again.

A true home from home with everything you need including things you hadn’t thought about. A house all by itself at the side of the main road to Tarbert. I say main road but so few cars use it that you’d never know it. I had plenty of space, a large comfortable bed in a big room with en suite. Lovely towels and bed linen. Having my own well appointed lounge was wonderful. The kitchen was accessed easily from the lounge and it too had all that you needed - including a steam egg boiler!! Together with usual breakfast requirements and again, some things in the cupboards and fridge that gave you that little bit extra. I cannot recommend highly enough. Furthermore, if you’re looking for golden eagles then this is the place to stay. Flying nearby all the time - another real pleasure to experience. Cristina was a very welcoming and informative host and obviously loves her home and where she lives. Try her place it’s well worth it and you’ll love it.

We had the most wonderful stay and Alasdair was the perfect host, going out of his way to make our stay a magical one. The location is extraordinary and the house is as warm and accommodating as the host. Highly recommend.

Wow, just WOW! I could, and would, gush all day long about how exquisite and perfect this place was. I believe it captured the quintessential definition of life on Skye. Views from every window facing the ocean were showstopping. The bunnies and occasional sheep out the back windows were fun to watch, as well. The spaces, and the hosts were warm, friendly, and inviting from the time we arrived until the time we left. It's a bit of a drive to anywhere you want to go from the place, but that was perfect for us after being in busy cities prior to our trip there. Glyn always responded quickly and was there for any questions (hiking paths, best routes, etc), or requests for extras (cutting board, knives, etc). Breakfast was always fresh, prompt, and delicious. If you're looking for the ultimate chill Skye vibe/ experience, look no further!! I will be back!

Nice room and nice host.The room is cozy and we slept very well there. Also，every morning，Myra prepares delicious Emglish breakfast for us and we had breakfast in their dining room where wr can also enjoy a wonderful view. Recommend to everyone.

Helen was such a great host. She baked at least five different treats and set up an entire breakfast buffet for just the two of us. We couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome. Thank you for having us Helen.

Isabel and Stuart are amazing hosts. They gave us detailed instructions on how to reach the house and responded to messages very fast. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and they turned up the heat for us since we're not used to such cold scottish mornings ;). We appreciated all of their efforts and definitely recommend staying at their lovely home.

Total honesty: as we braved the unlit, one-lane road back to Papillion, I was a little worried. But I should not have feared — the hosts were nice, the B&B space was pristine, and the breakfast every morning (with tea and espresso options in your room on your own schedule) were perfect. James and Rachel have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making people comfortable, and they did a fantastic job. SIDE NOTE: If you do stay here, Dunvegan is not far up the road. The castle and gardens are excellent, and The Old School (restaurant) is superb.

We had a really great time and slept well. Everything is super clean, the surroundings are really beautiful.. you get also breakfast. Valentina is also really friendly and gave us clear instructions to find the house. overall we very recommend this place than a hotel in Portree. 😊
