Vacation rentals in Scotland

We had a wonderful few day's stay in John's beautiful cottage. John is very engaging and even phoned while we were on our way to Holy Island to make sure we had received the key code and to see if we had any questions. On arrival everything was in order and Johns instructions on how to find his cottage were perfect. The cottage is incredibly well situated in the village with stunning views of the castle from the kitchen, garden and both bedrooms. We could have just spent our whole time on Hoy Island sat on the patio in the sunshine taking in the incredible view! The cottage is very up to date and the kitchen is well-equipped if you are more inclined to self cater. Everything in the village is only a few minutes walk away. There is a pub virtually next door and another pub two minutes away, also several cafes. There is also a gin shop right next door! There is room to park one car right outside and an EV charging point if you need one. All in all this is a fantastic property.

Delightful coastal feel with comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 babies. Lisa and Gavin were very helpful throughout the whole process.

We had a great stay. Bungalow was excellent with plenty of space. Well located for walks and as i had my dog with me, plenty of places to explore. Definitely recommend Bayview Hotel for a meal and breakfast in the dog friendly Bilberry Mill cafe in Bushmills is a must. Lovely walk into Bushmills by the old railway line which you access from Bushfoot golf club. Weather wasn't good enough to use the veranda, but it would be great when weather warmer. Well located to explore North Coast.

The cottage is lovely with beautiful surroundings. The living room in particular is stunning. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of space. Our eldest (11) loved the loft bedroom. Instructions from Liz were excellent and using what3words we found the cottage with no issues. The area is gorgeous and we saw lots of wildlife on the way which was great. The cottage is about an hour away from the centre of Edinburgh, so it’s ideal if you’re wanting to visit Edinburgh but stay away from the noise of a city. We had an amazing stay at the property. The hot tub was fab and all the furnishings and amenities were beautiful and spotless. Lovely outside deck with seating and a view of the pond. It felt very luxurious and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Shame it was only for one night! There is a Tesco superstore 5 min drive away to pick up anything you need. We will hopefully be back again to stay another time!

Great place, great value, great service and absolutely stunning views!! We had the best experience here an it was well worth the trip, Arthur is so helpful and accommodating cannot do enough for you. Will be back again if we ever get the chance.

Beautiful, well equipped and clean house in a great location for traveling between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Lots of attractions locally, lovely walks and things to do. Easy to park your car on the road outside or there’s a free car park opposite and safe.

Really enjoyed my stay here would 100% stay again

Sally’s place was spotlessly clean and welcoming! She has set it up so that you feel you are visiting family. I loved the cookbooks and great novels she has throughout the house. A good rainy day activity. Sally gave great information on getting there and things to do! We were able to easily drive to all the places of interest on Skye from the house. This is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting!
