The cabin is suitable for those who want to relax and enjoy the silence. The cabin contains: – Bedroom with bunk bed (120cm width downstairs, 75cm on top) – Extra field mattress available – Wood burning – Kitchen with gas hob and kitchen utensils – Outhouse – Water is collected in a stream or river – Some mobile signal – Parking below the cottage Pillows, duvets and clean linens are available in the cabin, or use your own sleeping bag.

Here you can see the northern lights, go mountain hiking, hunting small game, fishing and enjoying quiet moments on the terrace or inside a bright and welcoming cabin. It is about 2 km to the nearest food store (Bunnpris). Niingskroa with gas station is about 1,5 km away. It is 16 km to Harstad/Narvik Airport, 45 km to Narvik, and 59 km to Harstad. The cabin is bright and cozy and well equipped with what you need.

Close to the sea with opportunities for both fishing and swimming. Large lawn where family or group of friends can play football and badminton. The place consists of a main cabin and an annex with large slab that connects both cabins. 10 minutes from Bjerkvik, and 25 minutes from Narvik. Sunny terrace in the summertime, or a fire pit under the northern lights in the winter.

Bjørklund farm

Welcome to this idyllic old farmhouse on Tjeldøya. The northern Light can be seen right outside the door and during the summermonths one can see cruiseboats on the Tjeldsund strait. The house is close to the sea, and the island is perfect for hikes in the mountains. You can fish cod, Salmon, makrell or flatfish - and if lucky you may ser the whales or some of the majestic eagles that habitates in this area. This year, it may be especially attractive to be able to come to Bjørklund farm for Norgesferie.
