Peter was an amazingly proactive and helpful host, more than happy to give help and advice and answer any questions. The apartment was just as described. Very comfortable with good facilities and a perfect mix of being on a relatively quiet street with sea views but so close to amenities and transport options.

appartement très propre et bien équipé... à l'étage d'une famille vivant en dessous très gentils et discrets et présents si besoin... une climatisation unique dans la chambre qui est payante et n'est pas signalée comme telle. très proche du grand traffic de la ville et de la mer, mais suffisamment en retrait pour dormir correctement !!

We spent a night and a half here. Very flexible check in as we arrived at 4 in the morning. Very children-friendly place.

We just had a thoroughly enjoyable 3 nights over the Sri Lankan New Year. The staff on site were wonderfully attentive and friendly. Breakfast was fresh juice, fruit, toast and eggs. We opted to eat dinner there too and it was also excellent- grilled fish and curry. Good value as well. The kids loved the pool while my wife enjoyed being away from the more touristy areas, but only a short tuk tuk ride from supermarket, coffee shop and gym. Would definitely recommend for a few days relaxation! The staff also went above and beyond when my wife forgot some medicine- one jumped on a bus for 2 hours to bring it to her! Fantastic all round!

Dom Prashanth był wyjątkowo czysty i ładnie urządzony. Widać bardzo dużą dbałość o dom. Położenie miejsca na mapie dawało nadzieję na bliskość plaży . Trzeba mieć świadomość , że dom nie posiada parkingu. Również wyposażenie kuchni jest pozbawione gazu. Jest mikrofala i czajnik. W niedalekiej okolicy można znaleźć lokalne knajpki. Komunikacja z gospodarzem była bardzo szybka i łatwa. Dziękuję bardzo miłym gospodarzom Prashanth i jego żonie za możliwość spędzenia kilku dni w ich ładnym domu.

Vi skulle bruge lejligheden til overnatning inden hjemrejse. Hvilket den var rigtig fin til. Dejlig beliggenhed i forhold til lufthavnen, vores husvært var behjælpelig med at arrangere taxa. Smuk udsigt, gode spisesteder i nærheden.

We stayed at this place for over two weeks. Host Sudaththa and the manager Lakshanee were responsive and ready to help. Our flight arrived after midnight and the drive from airport was slow due to heavy rain. Lakshanee waited for us to let us in and introduce the facilities. They were also happy to accommodate our request to get some groceries for our immediate needs. The pool on the roof is small but very clean and is set in nice surroundings (can see the ocean from the rooftop). A/c units and fans kept us cool and the generator on standby meant there was no power interruption for more than a few seconds. The security guards were alert even after 19 pm and opened the gate for us when we were a little late to get back. Overall the experience was better than anticipated. The kitchen utensil range is limited but if we had asked I believe what we needed would have been provided. We did not because we only needed to make breakfast and tea there.

We had an amazing stay! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach. The place itself was cozy, clean and comfortable . Kabindran was incredibly helpful and attentive. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway!

Felt at home as we came. The caretaker and his wife was very kind and helpful. We have been in this villa before so we had a great experience last time as well hence we decided to come again with our parents. Place is very spacious with a lovely view of the pool, some greenery and the beach. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to go on a small vacay not too far from Colombo and enjoy with family and friends.

Johnny was an excellent host and a great partner during my stay. I first reached out to him via phone, and he was incredibly kind and responsive. Thanks to the building’s security guard, the check-in process was seamless. Compared to other Sri Lankan apartments, this one was thoughtfully designed and not cluttered with furniture, which we really appreciated. When the internet went down, Johnny responded within 30–40 minutes with a fix and a clear explanation—I loved that level of service. It was just my girlfriend and me traveling, and while we didn’t need a three-bedroom place, we absolutely loved the extra space. Next time I’m in town, I’ll definitely be booking this place again. Loved the stay—thank you, Johnny!

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und die Lage ist perfekt. Wir waren an unserem letzten Tag vor dem Rückflug dort und Binethra war sehr flexibel und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten nach dem Checkout noch den Pool, die Dusche und die Umkleide auf der Dachterasse nutzen und unser Gepäck sicher aufbewahren lassen. Sehr praktisch!

Our family of 8 had the most incredible time staying at Upul's beautiful beach house in Negombo. The property is stunning, located just a few meters away from the beach, offering breathtaking views and easy access to the shore. It’s hard to believe such a gem is so unbelievably affordable! The house itself is spacious, well-maintained, and perfect for a family getaway. A special mention to the caretaker—she is one of the sweetest and most hospitable people we've ever met. The meals she prepared were absolutely delicious and added so much warmth to our experience. Upul, the host, was incredibly accommodating and ensured everything was perfect for our stay. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made the experience even better. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations and left us with cherished memories. If you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and affordable beachside retreat, look no further. Thank you, Upul, for making our family vacation so special!

Jayantha kept in touch with me for any need from check in to check out. I stayed with my family for 1 month. The house is great for staying with family. I wanted to stay for 1 more month, but I couldn't due to some personal problems. Jayantha is a very good person. He gave me many concessions. I apologize and feel sorry for you Jayantha. From this place, everything is very close to super market, local market. You can go anywhere in Colombo quickly. It is an amazing feeling to stand on the balcony of the house and see the sea. Finally, I will say, my family and I had a wonderful time. Thank you Jayantha for your cooperation.

Great, convenient location close to shops, restaurants, hospitals etc. Peaceful and safe neighborhood. The building is well maintained with dedicated parking, garbage collection point etc. Mr. Balasundaram’s flat is very clean, neat and tidy with a nice view of the sea and the city out of the balcony. Mr. Balasundaram is very friendly and went out of his way to help with our stay. Can’t thank him enough for his kindness. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay and would definitely book again.

Our family group of 5 adults stayed at ‘Home within a City’ from the 6th Jan to 11th 2018. Our hosts Mihiri and Kapila were on hand to greet us when we arrived, and took us through all the formalities. The apartment was exactly as described, well laid out, and equipped with everything one could require on holiday. The excellent location gave us plenty of choice to eat and drink outside. The building had 24hr security and was well maintained. Boswell Residences was a short walk from Wellawatte train station (10 minutes into the Fort), and 5 minutes up to Galle Road from where you could catch a local bus into most places in town. Best was the pickme app with which you could summon a small car that was as cheap as the ubiquitous tuk-tuk, and airconditioned. The Majestic Mall, less than 3km/10min ride away cost me Rupees150. (Always take a metered tuk-tuk). Everyone in our group were unanimous – this is an apartment that we would gladly return to. Thank You Mihiri & Kapila for being attentive and gracious hosts. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would hope to return again.

Excellent location. Very clean. Properly organised. Quick response from the host. We got some amazing local tips from the host hat helped us dine at some of the best restaurants in Colombo. Highly recommend!

The apartment was neat and clean. The view from the balcony was amazing. Had all the amenities mentioned. The apartment is located in marine drive and is close to the city centre. The host was responsive and nice.

Awfar’s condo is new, modern and very clean. It had all of the amenities that we needed. Awfar and the property manager were very friendly, responsive and accommodating! I would definitely recommend this property for your next stay!
