Little Cottage Steps from the Beach

Quaint little cottage behind our shore house. All you need to enjoy the Jersey Shore. Our house is four houses from the beach and less than a mile’s walk or drive to the bars, restaurants, and rides. We’ve been renting on Airbnb since summer 2017, but we are no strangers to renters. We've been renting our cottage for the past 20 years & mostly rent June-August. We are looking to expand our rentals to May and into November. The off season is perfect if you are looking for quiet & relaxation!

Only minutes from downtown Princeton! This is part of a lovely estate that dates back to the 1700s. We live in the main building and are here to help if you need us! The Mermaid Motel 2 is a modest yet sparkling clean & inviting beach cottage. Comfortable for 2 guests it is centrally located in the middle of Seaside Park on the beach block.....steps to the ocean! Enjoy the bustle of the boardwalk and Seaside Heights to the north, the peaceful small town feel of SP life to the south, Island Beach State park and the serene Barnegat Bay all nearby. There are piers for crabbing & watercraft rentals here; bring your bikes, fishing poles or just beach chairs....

Centrally located, you can take day trips to Jersey beaches or PA ski resorts within 45 minutes, or to NYC within 75 minutes. When you want to relax, you can use or enjoy the reading nook, board games, TV and more.

Peaceful Guesthouse

you will have this private, quiet guesthouse all to yourself ..14' ceilings and a 25'x10' balcony to sun on....it comes with 2 free beach passes, and a beach cart with 2 chairs and umbrella......you may have stayed in my front house with the peace sign, now, I am offering my rear guesthouse, originally built in the 1800's as a barn, this redesigned building with 14' ceilings was completely rebuilt in 2003 just 4 blocks from the beach. It is walking distance to everything.

Entrance of the cottage has a porch for morning coffee or evening cocktail. Fully equipped kitchen to cook & prepare food for the beach. 42-inch TV & free Wifi. Workspace w/ desk, chair, monitor. Air conditioning/heat throughout the cottage. 2 beach passes, beach towels, beach chairs. Plenty of street parking.
