A very nicely decorated, listed cottage in a former workers' settlement, we felt very welcome.

A very nice, large house where many people have space. We were invited close to the wedding, it was a perfect fit for our needs. The terrace is cozy, the dining table huge, so with 9 people we adapted more than well. Beds are very comfortable and kitchen well appointed. We highly recommend the house.

Loved our stay. Our 3 year old daughter was delighted to enjoy the garden and share the animals. The place, surrounded by nature, was really refreshing. It's cozy, and we had everything we needed for these 4 days available. Thank you again so much for the very warm welcome!

I was looking for some peace and quiet in a beautiful natural environment for a few days and found this cottage on Airbnb. Highly recommended! An oasis of silence in a busy world. I drove to the recommended information center after arrival for a map of hiking trails. So many opportunities to make beautiful trips from and around Zutendaal of ±3-15 kilometers in breathtaking natural beauty. All routes are superbly marked. A mighty experience. Certainly repeatable!

Staying with Miriam is the perfect combination between an oasis of peace and farm life. Mariam provided us with a warm welcome and excellent service. Great place to relax, very nice surroundings! You walk out the gate and have all kinds of beautiful hiking trails to go...Plenty and more... to experience in the immediate vicinity of the cottage, we really enjoyed the peace, the silence and the privacy that is offered here. Spotted all kinds of birds in the garden while enjoying a drink; Flemish jigsaws, robins, finches, goats and even 3 black with white colored squirrels that we have never seen in the Netherlands, this was a welcome extra during breakfast on our last day. In short, really a lovely cottage where we thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed there for 3 nights, as far as we were concerned, far too short. The house itself is just a home where you can enjoy a lovely hot tub undisturbed, a hot tub and if the weather allows it a beautifully landscaped swimming pool outside. We took really beautiful walks, the gardens in Arcen we had already been but stay beautiful. So all praise !!

We used the accommodation for four with two children (12 and 9) as a central starting point for activities in the Ruhr area. Therefore, the location was especially important to us. With about 10 min. walk to the nearest train station, you can get everywhere very well. The apartment is not large, but well suited for a family for a few days. Otherwise, we particularly liked the great view through the balcony and window and the freely usable small swimming pool. All in all it was a nice time!

The standard and amenities of this property are outstanding and highly recommended. We felt very comfortable.

We have made a stop here for the trip from the UK to Hamburg and can highly recommend the accommodation. The hosts are so warm, we felt welcome even before arrival. The hosts are very attentive and have thought about our needs in advance (toddler, dog) - we appreciate that very much and are not often found. We will be happy to come back!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hello afternoon, the home was clean and well appointed. There was everything you could possibly need to feel comfortable. There was shopping nearby, and you could walk the dog wonderfully. Everything was in the best order.

The cottage is as described, it is tastefully arranged and provided with excellent comfort. Pascale is particularly friendly, proactive as well as responsive. We particularly enjoyed this little escape.

Vinciane was a lovely host who has prepared Au Petit Bertrand with careful attention and consideration for her guests. The neighbourhood was quiet and in a private area tucked away but convenient to the village. The kitchen space was efficient and suitable for meal prep. The bed was comfortable and cozy allowing us a much needed night's sleep. Vinciane was helpful on providing recommendations as needed. As a couple, the suite was just perfect for our visit. We would highly recommend the Au Petit Bertrand to any traveller.

The apartment is a very spacious and large loft. Very practical and spacious furnishings. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom very spacious.

Peter and Petra are very guest and dog friendly! We were very happy about the additional amenities for our dog! The apartment is nice and practically decorated and recommended for a stay!
