The self-contained apartment offers two separate bedrooms for up to four people, a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living room with plenty of space for relaxation, exercise or creative projects. Surrounded by nature and diverse leisure opportunities, close to Thurnau and located between Bayreuth, Kulmbach and Bamberg – perfect for a relaxing break.

The accommodation is very spacious and is located in a quiet area surrounded by chickens, sheep, horses, llamas and alpacas. Ideal for hiking and cycling, separate entrance, private terrace, no stairs, parking or carport, cozy little wellness area, highway 7 km away, recreational opportunities nearby. A fun park, swimming pool, restaurants and shopping facilities are just a few minutes away by car. There is also a charging station for electric cars.

The listed house dates back to 1677 and was once used as a farrier. Before the bypass was built, it was located on an important transport link. Pilgrims, travelers on horseback or in carriages passed by, and some have stopped at the neighboring inn, changed horses or had them newly shod by the blacksmith. The house, which was in danger of collapse, was restored by the current owner and is used by him as a vacation home.
