You can enjoy the Goemon bath, kamado, and old-fashioned slow life while feeling the season with the wind and sky patterns (there is a cassette stove, IH heater, and shower). You can also cook with a wood stove and BBQ outdoors. 　10 minutes by car from Izumo City Station. Izumo Taisha is 25 minutes away. There is also a hot spring nearby. The 20 tatami mat Japanese-style room is a private bedroom, and the kitchen and toilet are shared. There is a design office in the warehouse, and I work from 8:30 am to 6 pm on weekdays. You can also use the thatched cottage with a good view. 　There is also air conditioning, but in the summer, if you open the veranda and hang a mosquito net, the summer night breeze will invite you to sleep comfortably. From spring to autumn, you can hear the nostalgic sounds of frogs, cicadas, and bell crickets. 　If you are unfamiliar with charcoal or fire, I can help you if the timing is right. Firewood is free, but please bring your own BBQ charcoal if you use the sunken hearth. It is 1.6 km to the supermarket and 5 km to Izumo Station. It feels good to walk or jog along the Tanabe-michi Road and Kawato-te in the early morning. Please keep pets on the dirt floor. In July and August, please pick blueberries from the garden.

This private Japanese-style inn is a 150-year-old kominka (traditional Japanese house) that the owner, JP, a DIY enthusiast, renovated himself, envisioning his ideal way of life. The most unique feature of this accommodation is the one-of-a-kind “egg sauna.” This is a fully DIY sauna, developed entirely by JP, from design to production, with a unique shape that allows heat to circulate naturally.Enjoy a sauna experience you can't get anywhere else, surrounded by the gentle warmth of a wood-burning stove. The room also has a traditional Japanese hearth (irori), a characteristic feature of old Japanese houses. You can experience traditional Japanese living, such as enjoying a hot pot around the irori (traditional hearth) or grilling skewers. *Please bring your own cooking utensils, such as ingredients and skewers. The accommodation is located in a quiet hamlet called Kobusa, nestled in the mountains of Misasaki City, Okayama Prefecture. Right nearby is Nishi-Awakura Village, which is gaining attention as a village focused on regional revitalization and relocation, and the area is characterized by a rich natural satoyama landscape. Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a relaxing stay surrounded by nature and handcrafted warmth.

Shodoshima, 30 seconds to the sea, you can see the sea from any room

This house is built on the quiet seaside in Shodoshima Town. The house was built just for dusk watching the sea and the sunset.Therefore, I apologize for the large number of stairs on the terrace, but I can never call it barrier-free.(I will do my best to help with my luggage, etc.) However, at the end of the high terrace, there is a glittering, calm and beautiful sea in Setouchi, and a kane-colored sunset that changes faces every day. Forget your time and enjoy the extraordinary. *We are currently not allowing pets to stay at the property. Please contact us before booking to request them. The interior is accessed by climbing the terrace stairs.It is not handicap accessible. Please be sure to accompany small children or adults when climbing up and down the stairs. Also, on rainy days, there are many stairs, so it may be inconvenient. The road in front of the accommodation is not paved. Please note that this may be an inconvenience. There is a lot of nature around the inn, so there are definitely insects.Sometimes insects come in together when opening and closing windows and doors.(Especially at night, insects gather in the light of the inn) We are very sorry, but please refrain from staying if you are not good with insects.

I've updated the photos of the room. The bunk bed in the Western-style room has been removed and replaced with two single beds. The maximum number of guests has been changed to 6. If you already have a reservation for 7 or more people, you can stay with the same number of people without any changes. Naoshima has become a tourist destination not only for Japan but also for the whole world. What changes, what doesn't. Each blends naturally, and the air flows in a way that can only be experienced in Naoshima. You'll feel it even more by staying on Naoshima. Sakura-so opened in the summer of 2014. It is a guest house with a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere. 5-minute walk from the center of Naoshima's Miyanoura. It is located in a very quiet place. It is also very close to Teshima Yokoo House and is in the area where you can find small shops and eating places. Haus2354 is a Japanese style house with Japanese style floor bedding, and we rent out a whole house during your stay. There are direct boats from Teshima to Shodoshima, Naoshima and Inujima. This place could be your base for island hopping considering its good access to the port.
