Vacation rentals in Nishiusuki District

We stayed here for one night while visiting Takachiho Gorge and we loved it! Such a cosy space, comfortable and clean. Keita was a great host! A quiet and peaceful place to stay.

Had the best stay in this cozy house! The place was exactly as described and fits 5 adults well. Host was very friendly too. Highly recommend to drive if you intend to stay here!

Victoria, the lodge owner and a Buddhist priest herself, gave us a tour of the temple and the chance to ring the bell. I was also delighted to meet Pickles, the temple cat, who seemed to enjoy the atmosphere as much as the guests!

Great and huge house! Ideally for groups and families

Stefano’s property in Takamori exceeded all expectations. The place was spotless, and honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. The home perfectly blends modern comforts with traditional charm, and the welcoming mix of Italian bread and wood scents made it feel like home. Stefano’s thoughtful touch of providing fresh bread every day for breakfast was a lovely bonus. This place is truly a hidden gem!

Pristine area in the mountains. The elders around were very hospitable. Great place to getaway from cities, and stopover for driving trip.

Stefano's place was really comfortable. The shower time was not very restricted. I'm also wrong in the language, but if I asked for something or asked a question, I was very grateful that you let me know with all my heart. One day, I was so busy on my schedule that I couldn't eat a meal and went into the accommodation. I was so hungry that I contacted Stefano and he served me a very delicious bread that he made himself. It was a bread with local beef, but it was so delicious that I could stop by on purpose (sometimes I think of it...🤤) The host is a chef, so he cooks very well. It's a shame I couldn't eat restaurant food because Golden Week was overlapping! I wanted to try pasta: (! Next time I stop by Takamori, I definitely want to stay at the accommodation again and try Stefano's food. Also, there was a small lawn park next to the accommodation, so it was nice to be able to see the scenery where families come in the morning to play baseball or play baseball. It felt warm! At night, the room was a little cold, but it was okay that they gave me a thick blanket. Rather, I think it was nice and not humid. In addition, I don't think many Koreans come to Takamori, but if you're going to travel to Kumamoto, I really recommend listening to Takamori. There is a place where you can rent an e-bike around the property (5 minutes on foot), so I was able to look around on an e-bike and face a really peaceful and beautiful scenery. I highly recommend going to a shrine or a zoo on a bike! I highly recommend Soy Jang Monaka in Buzenya!!!! And if you're sitting in a supermarket, the street cats come and chi dam... it's really cute.

One night stay - Great place, the person who takes care of it is very friendly and offers a meal for the evening in their bar next to the accommodation. Possibility to take burgers, nachos etc without booking or possibility to book a restaurant menu, all with good cocktails! The place is small but cute, the shower and bedroom area is clean. I recommend it!
