Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Nkangala District Municipality

We needed a place to stop after leaving Pilensburg park to recharge our batteries before going to Kruger it was the perfect spot. Quiet and relaxing with beautiful view and gardens and birds. Holger upgraded us and we had a beautiful room. We had supper there and it was excellent, breakfast was also really good. It was a reaĺly good value. The place was spotless and very uniquely decorated. Our room had a Rhino theme. Great for one night or to stay longer. thanks Tom

Enjoyed our second stay at Acra Retreat and it now officially feels like our home away from home. The perfect place to stay between Kruger and Johannesburg. We absolutely love Norma, Holger, and their staff. All meals were divine. The views and peace you find at Acra truly restore your soul.

Great hosts and a great stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them. A big compliment also needs to be paid to Hilda, she is a wonderful human. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable.

I loved the place, Dunkeld Country estate is very peaceful. I like how the nature is preserved. There is lots of different things to keep one busy. The room was clean and the housekeepers were available even on Sunday. The staff is friendly. They had back up generators, we did not feel the load shedding impact. The restaurant is affordable with great food. I had a pleasant experience, the service by Micheal and Alfred the employees of restaurant 1883 and Solly the horse riding instructor were superb. I will definitely go back again for a visit.
