The cabin is located south-west facing at 1000 METERS ABOVE SEA LEVEL with lovely views of Grønnsenknippa and Skogshorn and not least Vaset Skisenter and Vasetvannet lake. The cabin is located right by the trail to the ski resort, to come home you can drive through the forest or take off your skis and walk about 350 m back from the alpine slope. There is a walkway just outside the apartment with a distance of 650 meters to for example: Amfi, Elkjøp, grocery stores, Burger King, Valdres activity park, Faslefoss and Leirasanden (child-friendly sandy beach).. Great touring opportunities in the area. If you are a driven hiker, you can take the trip up Bergflagget. There is about 700 meters from the apartment up to the top, with a pavilion where you can enjoy the view of Leira.

The cabin is secluded in a quiet area without many other cabins around. There are miles of ski slopes right outside the door. In Summer it is in the middel of the mountian biking trail there. There are many hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming and kayaking in Sørre Syndin and Hamriskjedn. Lots of space around you outdoors for a tent/ hammock or grilling.
