Charming and newly renovated cabin on Ålfjell, Vaset. Originally built of loft with archipelago adapted annex with new kitchen, hallway, bathroom with sauna and own toilet (everything new in 2020/21). The cabin has 3 bedrooms and a loft with various toys. The kitchen and bathroom are brand new and thus to today's standards and well equipped. The cabin is located south-west facing at 1000 METERS ABOVE SEA LEVEL with lovely views of Grønnsenknippa and Skogshorn and not least Vaset Skisenter and Vasetvannet lake. Proximity to many great hiking destinations.

Spacious cabin with fantastic location on Vaset/Ålfjell. Located approx. 950 meters above sea level, it has an open and free view. The cabin is located on the sunny side and faces west/southwest. Short distance to Vasetsenteret where you will find a well-stocked Joker store. In Vaset you will also find several cozy eateries. In winter you will find great prepared ski trails. Vaset Skiheiser has several downhill slopes for alpine skiing and snowboarding suitable for the whole family. In summer, the area is ideal for cycling and hiking in the mountains.

Panoramic view of Skogshorn and Hemsedalsfjellene, Valdres and Jotunheimen, as well as Golsfjellet with Storefjell and Tisleifjorden. Area is a unique starting point for both summer and winter activities. Hiking trail and access to skiing just behind the cabin! Nystølvarden is the area's most popular tour, and can be reached in both summer and winter. There is a year-round road, electricity, water and drainage.

Parking onsite for 3 cars The cabin has a large terrace with panoramic views of Jotunheimen mountains. Downtown Fagernes is a 5 min drive away. The water in the hot tub is changed and the cabin is professionally cleaned for each new guest Due to decades of extreme temperature swings the cabin is slightly tilted. This is a common feature of cabins of this era.

Our new cabin with everything you need is a nice starting point for mountain hiking in Golsfjellet and Valdres by foot or by bike. The cabin is located in a new cabin area near Sanderstølen hotel. You'll need to bring linen and towels yourself, otherwise it should be what you need. Electricity consumption is read by electronically and you will be sent a claim via AirBnb for the actual costs. The cabin must be cleaned and left in the same condition as you took it over.
