Vacation rentals with lake access in Nordanstig Municipality

Good accomodation and welcoming and responsive hosts. 

Just perfect! The hosts were incredibly friendly and always quick to respond. The location right on the sea is breathtaking – it doesn't get better than that! In addition, the Airbnb was exceptionally well equipped, we have never experienced anything like this before. In March it was wonderfully quiet there, so we could totally slow down. Perfect for a relaxing time out. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Clear recommendation!

We had some lovely days at Claudia and Egil's house. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. Large wonderful garden and swimming opportunities from the jetty directly adjacent to the plot. The kids loved both the house and the outdoor environment . A very special house, with personal decor. Especially we appreciated all the live plants and small quirky details, both inside and out.

This place was amazingly nice. Located very close to the sea with a fantastic sandy beach, views and several activities. The house is sheltered and has a large outdoor area you can use for several activities such as ball games, jumping on the trampoline and the like. From the master bedroom you have a view to the sea. It also has a jacuzzi that you can relax in. It looked just like the photos and is worth the money. Highly recommend!

Great place for a quiet vacation, the house is warm and cozy, and the view is amazing!

We loved the cottage! Skatan is a small, wonderful village with friendly people and beautiful views. The house had everything we needed for our stay. The tv is located upstairs, which worked out ok for us but might not if someone has a mobility issue. Jonas was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. I would definitely recommend staying here and we will be back again, hopefully!

The house was clean, well equipped with plenty of room for us to relax and enjoy. It had a cozy and homely feeling that made us feel comfortable and welcome right away.

We had a great week at Hans’s place. The house is very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The lake is beautiful and we enjoyed our time in the nature. It was wonderful!

We had some great cozy days in Hassela! Ylva was accommodating and flexible as a host. Recommended!

This review is based on a February stay with around 70cm of lying snow: Absolutely joyful country cottage in the woods. Warm, cosy and clean. Extra amenities like sauna and hot tub. Both of these are wood fired so dont expect to push a button and jump in. Heating is electric and the house is warm throughout, but you can ramp up the cosiness by lighting the wood burner in the lounge and stove in the kitchen (Dont worry there's an electric stove for cooking). Erik and Ann-Marie were excellent. Good comms and were there to meet us and show us around. They are rightly proud of the house that has been in their family for many years. The house is beautifully peaceful and quiet in the forest but it also means the nearest supermarket is about 40km/25 miles away and on snowy roads about an hours drive. So maybe make a list when you go shopping so as not to forget anything!
