It is a place of relaxation for vacationers seeking peace and quiet. In summer, it is ideal for hiking and mountain biking. In winter, ski resorts are available in the village and nearby. There are excursion possibilities, for example, to Goslar, Wernigerode and Quedlinburg. The guest fee of €3.00/night for adults is charged in cash on site.

It is surrounded by the imposing new Bauhaus museum, the historic Gauforum and a quiet family residential area. The house itself has been bequeathed to us by our GDR-affine grandmother and, despite some modernizations, authentically kept right in this style. Optional car parking space (€8/day) on enclosed grounds.
