The lakehouse of Anne and her husband are just wonderful. The place is stunning and quiet. Inside you got everything you got, from fridge with freezer, to a finnish sauna. The road is a little bit bumpy if you drive the longer way, but after all i would recommend everyone to go there to have a little detox from everything :) We also were allowed to use their little boat, to drive on the lake. We highly recommend it!

Our group of seven spent four nights at Miia's cottage on the shores of Linnansaari National Park. We had an excellent time! The main cottage is on the small side for seven, the three kids were going to sleep in a loft space but with the noise challenges of lofts we elected to have them sleep in the sauna cottage, which has a beautiful sleeping space. We took full advantage of the ping pong table, darts, hot tub and sauna(s). We also rowed over to nearby islands several times (tons of mushrooms growing over there!). There were no other people nearby, really, so it felt very private. The back deck is perfect for lounging and eating meals when the weather is good. Miia helped us find a local fishing guide and gave us other helpful recommendations. We popped south to Savonlinna one day to walk the town and have a meal. All in all, we highly recommend a stay at Miia's!

Amazing hut on the lake full of pike, zander and perch, so we definitely made use of the available boat. Wild blueberries and lingonberries in the yard, raspberries in the forrest few steps away. Plenty of wood provided for sauna every evening and for grilling the catch. Very clean and tidy place with everything one might need for a couple of weeks off the grid.

A perfect family getaway We had a fantastic family stay in this beautiful house by the frozen lake. The setting was magical, and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and disconnect. The house was spotless, very well equipped, and felt just like home. We especially enjoyed the private sauna and outdoor jacuzzi — a true highlight after days of exploring. Our host was kind, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable escape in nature. Thank you for the unforgettable memories!

We booked the cabin for a stopover on the way to the North Cape in January. In advance, we were informed that there is underfloor heating, but it cannot really heat the hut, and there is only an outdoor toilet. Since this was not a problem for us, we still traveled and it was definitely worth it. Equipped with sleeping bags, it was cozy and pleasant for 3 people even in winter. Also the view of the frozen lake with sunrise was worth the overnight stay. Even though I think the cottage is more designed for the summer, it is also worth a visit in winter and perfect for an overnight stay

Cozy, small cottage right (!) on the lake. The sauna is in very good condition and can be heated with wood. The host responded very friendly and quickly to messages and was absolutely flexible! We were there in winter, it was so nice that we are considering coming back in summer!

We enjoyed the holiday here with my family of 5 and friends. A great place to stay with a bigger group and just next to the Tahko Mountains. Sauna was great addition after a long day outdoors. Living room & kitchen was nice open space where we spent most of the time together and the bedrooms offered privacy if needed. We can warmly recommend this place!

Small house with all the normal amenities. Particularly stylish sauna and laundry room. A good double bed and even an adjustable large table for remote working. The host couple was kind enough to greet us and show us around. There was even a tarp for the car. Recommended!
