Vacation rentals with a firepit in Northumberland

We had a wonderful stay! The house is spacious and tasteful with lots of luxury touches. Super comfortable beds and linens, top notch coffee machine and lovely cosy places to sit and relax. The house is so child friendly – a gorgeous garden and playroom, high chair and plenty of space for coats/boots/kid stuff. Very practical and highly recommend.

For us, it was like home away from home. Karen added a lot of extras like milk in the fridge, biscuits for us and our dog when we arrived. She provided everything one would need especially spending time on the beautiful beaches, we needed space to hang our wet things, an outdoor (and indoor) clothes line and pegs. Love the hot water bottles, thankfully we did not need to use them. Karen was quick to respond and flexible with our arrival and departure times. Will definitely stay at Karen's when we visit Northumberland. Thank you Karen.

A beautiful home in a beautiful location. It's so peaceful, with lots of birds and wildlife. A short drive from Amble which is lovely. We felt really at home and had a great time!

The photos do not do the place justice - it is absolutely beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. So much bigger than it looked online too and we had a great stay. The only issue we had was that the hot water stopped working mid way through the day. Elizabeth was super helpful and responsive to the problem but we had to be in Newcastle for early evening so it meant 6 of our party had to have freezing cold showers one day as the water took too long to come back on. Other than that, I can’t fault it. Surroundings are beautiful. So peaceful and yet close to shops, airport (25 mins), a gorgeous spa (matfen hall), and a 35 min minibus to Newcastle. Would recommend to all.

A beautiful retreat in a beautiful part of the world. A great place for a meeting amongst friends. Plenty of space, extra blankets for cold nights and a fire to keep warm. An amazing authentic experiences which was loved by all of us. This was a place to remember. Thanks.

This is a great house for a multigenerational group. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. lots provided to keep everyone entertained in mixed weather - hot tub, bikes, gaming equipment, darts, table tennis, books etc. Very clean and comfortable. We were well looked after at the Pheasant Inn and Falstone Tea Rooms. Would recommend.

We had a fantastic time at Emily's place. The location is so beautiful and peaceful but not too far from civilisation. We wanted an escape from a busy December and this was the perfect place for us. Everything was completely up to standard, worked perfectly, and surpassed expectations. We will definitely be visiting again in the future, maybe with my partner's child next time as he would love it too. Can't recommend enough!

The apartment was easy to check into, spotlessly clean and in a brilliant location close to restaurants, coffee shops etc

Cute and attractive property, very clean and bijou and perfect for our needs. Excellently appointed bathroom and shower. Sara was friendly, helpful and communicated very well! Will use again on our next trip to Hexham.

Great location and very cozy, we stayed between Christmas and New Years with three young children and could walk everywhere. Unfortunately most of Jedburgh was closed over this period.

Last minute decision to have a night away and Toms place was spot on! Perfect peaceful location, the annexe is gorgeous with everything we could need. The hot tub was dreamy even in the drizzle as the sun went down over the fields. Tom was a great host firing up the hot tub for us and recommending the fabulous Crown Inn for a great dinner! Thank you!

Absolutely lovely house and in nice little village. Everything that was promised was delivered, we had a lovely little hamper too with tea and coffee which was a lovely touch! The hot tub was stunning and the garden was a very good size. Our only issues were that this was a 4 person hot tub, for a house that sleeps 5 so wasn't the best fit - also the kitchen lacked a couple of pans/equipment if you were wanting to cook each meal. But would definitely return again and would recommend!!! Thank you :)

This place really took us by surprise. We drove 5.5 hours each way, just to visit and our biggest regret was not booking longer! Worth every bit of the money and drive. The place was private and peaceful. Very safe and secure and very quiet so you can really enjoy yourself. Really feels like you have the whole place and surrounding areas to yourself! Utensils and appliances wise you could see Jane has real care and attention to detail, everything you could need or think of was provided. And that too of high quality not just your budget items. The bbq was a proper bbq which was a joy to use. The hot tub come with lighting and jets. Even the pots and pans were tefal! A lot of time and money has gone into it all. Garden was well lit also for those late evenings. Was lovely to meet Ben also. So much more to say but we won’t ruin all the delightful surprises! Very happy with the stay and we will be back for sure. Thank you! And see you next time.

The facilities were very clean, well lit, and well equipped. The restaurant provided good local quality food. The staff really friendly and hospitable. The setting on a Farm in nature with wildlife and birds to enjoy, and beach walking distance. Perfect holiday place, will be back again...again....

We really enjoyed our stay at Starling’s Rest! Whilst the home is tiny there is everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Amelia was responsive and helpful with local recommendation for us and our dog. We would definitely recommend! Thanks Amelia :)

We stayed at Heidi’s Glamping Pod for two nights. The place was absolutely beautiful and so so clean! It was my boyfriend’s birthday whilst we were staying at the pod and Heidi provided a complimentary bottle of prosecco and put up some happy birthday banners! She also provided a welcome pack. These touches were amazing and were really appreciated. I will absolutely be recommending this to all of our family and friends and will certainly be back in the future. Thank you for such a lovely stay! :)

Lovely stay at a calm place. 20 mins walk to many miles of unspoilt coastline, walking on clean deserted beaches to fabulous castles and coastal landmarks. Just beautiful. A short drive to Holy Island and Seahouses but way off the beaten track. Loved the firepit evenings. Thank you
