Nothing but mountain and sky

This house is located right below Japanese alps, where you can enjoy outdoor in mountains, rivers and lakes throughout four seasons. We moved to this area from Tokyo because this area is not commercialized, but intact from urbanization. So if you are looking for something different than usual sightseeing, here could be the place to visit. This house used to be a ski ryokan, and we renovated it by ourselves with abandoned and local materials to maintain nice and old Japanese architectural taste.

Akari Apartments are comfortable and spacious. In a great area of the Village just 200m to the slopes and an easy flat stroll into the centre of the village. The closest public onsen is just 50 meters down the road and free to use for our guests. The 4 bedroom apartment is perfect for 2 or 3 families with kids or group of friends (comfortable up to 10 person). You live above the famous Swiss bakery for your daily bread, pastry and Pizza supply. Other Japanese Restaurants are close by too.

This stylish fully equipped beautiful 2 bedroom apartment is extremely close to train and bus stops making arriving and departing very easy. Shuttle buses are very close by as are numerous local's favorite places to eat and the supermarket. This Solar Energy House is in the quiet residential area 3-minutes-walk from Zenkoji-Temple. It's very comfortable, using natural material insulators. Hosts live on the second floor and the entire first floor is for guests. The main entrance is shared with us and guests can ask anytime. Enjoy the relaxing wooden interior and solid wood floor.
