Wildland-urban interface local. We've seen raccoons, a coyote, swallows nest in spring and sometimes spiders make webs outside. We are right where urban and wildland meet. Longer stays available, just ask. Calendar is often blocked, but we can open dates.

Welcome to your home away from home! Remodeled two bedroom small cottage is located in a neighborhood just a few miles away from the beach. On a beautiful night with large surf, you can hear the waves out your window. While Oceano is awesome - it's also an old funky beach town. The neighbors are all friendly, but some of their houses are old and look run down. Rest assured, despite the old houses across the street and next door, our neighborhood is safe and friendly - we love our neighbors!

Walking to the beach is a just a short stroll down a windy little road filled with cool beach vibes. Cross a little wooden bridge and walk down a block or two and you are right in front of the Oceano dunes. Plan a bonfire and make s’mores on the beach. Or better yet, stay at the little cottage, grab a bottle of wine and enjoy a fire pit right outside your bedroom door.

The property is enclosed by trees for complete privacy, and features a large patio and a second story balcony. There is also a second driveway with room for an r.v. or two and a grill for a relaxing evening bbq. There is also a 2000 square foot barn, tables, and chairs available for larger gatherings. You’ll find a 780 sq.Ft indoor space with a private deck, giant oak trees and a beautiful view of the garden outside. The sunny open floor plan has a queen-sized bed, a couch, 2 loveseats a dining area and kitchen. The Cottage accommodates two adults. I will accept pets on a case-by-case basis.
