Everything you need is available. It is made entirely of wood and has an area of 30m². The tiny house is located at the back of our property and is surrounded by a natural garden. This gives it a wide view with plenty of privacy. The tranquility and space in this lovely cottage feels like a real experience, a place to dream away for a while!

Our comfortable guesthouse for 2 to 4 people is located in a beautiful building dating from 1864, overlooking the picturesque village church, in the heart of Grijpskerk. With its own entrance, a spacious bedroom, a cozy living/sleeping area, and a modern bathroom, you can enjoy peace and privacy. The train station is within walking distance; you can reach Groningen in 14 minutes and Leeuwarden in 30. An ideal base for exploring the city, nature, Lauwersmeer, and Schiermonnikoog. At its highest point over the water, a sitting area with a 360º wood stove keeps you cozy. Enjoy movie nights with a beamer and speaker for extra entertainment. Outside, a spacious wooden deck with a sun lounger, outdoor dining table, BBQ, pizza oven, and a stunning lake view awaits. For dog owners: the property is fenced😊

Close to Groningen in nature. With Sauna and gym

Welcome to Klein Nienoord, staying in a beautiful farmhouse from 1905 close to Groningen. The house has its own entrance and garden and is fully equipped. The luxurious sauna is a nice place to relax and if you want something more active you can use the gym. Within walking distance is the entrance to the Nienoord estate where you can take a beautiful walk. We have bicycles for rent to explore the area. Good to know: we do not provide breakfast. You do have your own kitchen with an oven.

The Landscape

In this luxurious spacious home, you will experience rural life at its best! With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Walden is located in the middle of the unique backdrop landscape of the Frisian woods. Trees, hedges and wooded banks surround the meadows. With grasslands, water and patches of forest in between. It looks cozy, those lawns between the trees. Smûk, we say in Frisian. As many as 250 species of birds and many other animals live here. The area also received a gift of pingos from the Ice Age. Located between two national parks: Lauwersmeer and De Alde Feannen. Ideal cycling and hiking area.

Upstairs are 2 sleeping lofts, each with a double bed. And there is an extra room with bed (*). The French doors lead you to a beautiful terrace with outdoor stove, sauna and the Groningen outdoor life. As an extra option, you can choose a breakfast or cheese platter consisting of organic local products
